GM Nostr friends. I sat down with my @Oshi (推し) toast this morning along with a lovely dirty chai and started watching K-Pop Demon Hunters. It's hilarious and has gorgeous songs and visuals. Had to stop to help Hubby load up and haul some stuff to his mom's, but hoping to finish it later this afternoon while I do some loads of laundry. Hope you all have a great Saturday!

I'm down to only some basic green and the bag of chai I've been working on for ages, and my tongue is bored.

Just set up an Nsec for Hubby, so now furiously going back through my old posts to see if there's anything to be worried about if and when he actually signs on and starts scrolling through my older stuff. GM Nostr friends. It's Friday! I'm very much hoping for a quieter day today. Browsing my Nostr feed, and you all just fill me with such hope. I love our little corner of the internet. Kind of a cloudy, dark day outside, but cozy inside. I'm going to get through some work and then hopefully be able to catch up on Derek and Heather's latest Soapbox episode. I'm so far behind on all my podcast listening this week. Got my coffee, got some sats to zap. Let's go.

GA Nostr friends. I've been busy with work, and only now have a few minutes to catch up. Y'all have been busy little posters! Yesterday and today were an absolute shit show ( pun intended) with my dad. He was supposed to go in yesterday morning for a colonoscopy, but the prep wasn't prepped enough for him, so they said they couldn't do it and sent us home with some more prep solution for him to drink this morning. He was waffling about it before I drove over this morning, and then when I arrived told me he had canceled the appointment. 🙄 THEN he said it's back on, and rescheduled to this afternoon. Another bathroom visit, and he decides nope, he's not going to do it. ARGH! Meanwhile, I've now taken at least six hours off work and returned for about four of them, canceled a couple meets and then put them back on my calendar. I finally told him enough - I can't keep doing this at my busiest time of year. I love him very much, but he hasn't been sleeping much and has been getting mentally pretty squirrely the last year or so. Just very frustrating. Anyway, that's my rant. Back to work. Hope you all are having a decent week. Mwah.

GM Nostr friends. Started out my work day by logging into my email and getting yelled at on blast by a staff person at one of our other campuses for something that was an unfortunate side effect of something else I was doing on Friday. So that was fun. Feeling rather down now. Already finished my coffee. This weekend was far busier than I would have preferred. Ended up joining Hubby and BIL to help unload some stuff my MIL wanted from her old house at her apartment. Went to take out a bag of trash by her front door, and got garbage juice dripped all over my foot and pant leg. It smelled like piss and coffee grounds, and I had to throw everything in the wash (including myself) when I got home. 🤢 Hubby and I had adult Sunday School and church yesterday, and then went on what we thought would be a fun 90 minute historical train ride in western WI yesterday afternoon from a Groupon I bought a while ago. It turned out to be very boring, and we sat at the turn around point for about half an hour while they literally moved the engine from one end to the other to tow us back to the station. We barely made it back in time to pick Lu up from doggy daycare before they closed. Exhausted today. Trying to stay positive, but really just feeling meh.

GM Nostr friends! Not a whole lot happening today. My back and shoulders are very pop-py and aching today. Enjoying the last few days/weeks of my iced coffee before it gets too chilly and I switch back to the hot stuff for the season. Do your work today with a grateful heart.

Alternatives to Fountain for Nostr-based podcasts? I listen a lot from the web, and their interface is beyond frustrating. (Have to say Wavlake's web interface isn't much better.) #AskNostr Bonus if it also has an iOS app.

That heavy whipping cream wasn't fresh. My morning coffee is making my stomach not feel good. Ugh...

Decided to make some toast and share my purchase with Hubby today, and to say that he was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement, to say the least. I believe some direct quotes are in order: -A++++++ -This reminds me of Christmas. -I feel like this flavor is taking me back to a childhood memory. -At first I was skeptical, but this might be better than almond butter (his current favorite). -We're going to need at least 8 jars for the family for Christmas -Frickin amazing! -Holy crap that was good. So I think it went over well. 😆 He's still skeptical of Nostr and Bitcoin, but you won him over with V4V!

Can anyone recommend a good FOSS weather app that works on iOS? I was replying to another note asking for Android app suggestions, and remembered that I used to use SimpleWeather and miss it. #AskNostr

GM Nostr friends. My back hurts. Maybe I slept wrong? It's a cool, blustery, beautifully sunny Fall morning. Leaves are changing in the neighborhood, and it sure seems like Autumn is settling in for a stay. Yesterday I started listening to Derek and Heather's new podcast, Soapbox Sessions (on Fountain), and it's like hanging out with a couple of friends around a table having some laughs, learning about some cool stuff, and just chilling. Love it. Good job, guys!
