'Sup, Nostr friends? Happy Saturday! Gorgeous day here. Got some groceries, and just chilling with Lu. I should get up and go do some laundry, but eh.

And we're back. Life wasn't so much busy as it was just bleh this week. My Zepbound shot took me down hard, with lots of nausea. No puking thankfully - I have a phobia about it. My doc is okay with me staying on my current dosage, instead of increasing up a level like I'm supposed to at this point. It's honestly kinda wreaking havoc on everything. I have a dentist appointment on Monday where I desperately want to avoid throwing up on my hygenist. So...here we are. Made it to Friday. My MIL is moving into an assisted living facility near us next week, but gets the keys tomorrow, so Hubby and his brother will be spending most of the weekend getting her basics moved in. Heeeere's to the freakin' weekend. 🥂

GM Nostr friends! Happy Friday. I've been doing protein shakes all week with a couple bloops of Javvy coffee concentrate. It gets the job done, but definitely not as satisfying as sipping a regular caffeinated beverage. Kind of chilly out today, so I wish I had opted for my regular pour-over. Oh well. GgggggggggM Nostr friends. It's May! I'm counting down to the debut of Murderbot on Apple tv. Been working my way through the novels, and super excited to see how it translates to live action. There are workers in the neighborhood this week doing...something with replacing cables along my street. Really hoping they avoid knocking out my power and internet. 🤞 Just feeling really grateful today. I have a job, home, sweet hubby, and puppy that I adore. Thank you, Lord for all you've done for me. Hubby's coworker recommended a movie to watch called The Beekeeper, starring Jason Statham. Now, I'm a fan of bad movies. Especially ones that know they're bad. This, however...I have no words. It's SO bad. And I think it's trying to be a serious action movie. Oy.

So this is random, but I've asked Hubby and he doesn't eat bananas (texture thing). For those of you who do enjoy a good banana, what say you about the veins? Do you just eat them, or peel them off before eating? I always peel them off, feels gross just knowing I'm eating one.

GM Nostr friends! Went to dinner with Hubby and a couple friends last night and had a delicious chicken piccata with a side of angel hair pasta and mushrooms. Very grateful my stomach hasn't acted up from all the butter that was in the dish. Getting back on track today with a protein shake. Gorgeous but slightly chilly morning. I have to keep reminding myself that it's technically still early spring, so I can't expect summer temps just yet. Hump DAAAAAAAY!

GM Nostr friends! Had a fairly busy weekend, so I'm actually a little glad to be back to work today. We're in for some severe storms today. Getting some thunder and lightning now, but the rain itself isn't too bad yet. My poor pup hates thunder, so this could be a very long day for her. Happy Monday!

GM Nostr friends. It's Thursday! Got a meeting in a few minutes, and I'm not quite awake enough to ensure things are going to sink in. We'll see what happens, but I'm not holding out hope I'll remember much!

GM Nostr friends. Spring has sprung, and summer is right behind it. The grounds crew is in the neighborhood today doing their very first grass cutting of the season. Can't say I'm a fan of the noise, but I am very excited to see green starting to pop out everywhere. Whoo hoo Wednesday!

GN Nostr friends. Nothing much happened today, but I'm grateful for it. Going to roll over soon and go to sleep in my own home next to the man I love so I can wake up in the morning and do a job that helps me pay the bills. That ain't so bad.

Just sneezed and my left hip popped. I swear I didn't sign up for this yet.

GM Nostr friends. Rainy gray day here, looks like that will be the case for most of the week. Had a pretty good weekend overall. Spent time with Hubby at the zoo on Saturday, and he bought me a trio of Hexclad saucepans as an anniversary gift. I felt very bougie making my scrambled eggs this morning. Yesterday was a great day with Hubby's fam. Helped one of his little nieces put together a Lego flower, laughed and joked with my in-laws, and ate some delicious food. Here's to another week. Happy Easter Nostr friends! He is risen! Church service this morning, then home for a bit before going over to Hubby's brother's house for lunch and time with the family.

One year married today! Hubby and I went to the little local zoo and conservatory for a while today. Got some great time together, and then had takeout from my favorite Chinese restaurant. One year down, many years to go!

GM Nostr friends, and a blessed Good Friday to those of you who call Jesus your friend and savior. Very gray skies here today. Seems kind of fitting for the day itself, so I'm not complaining. Hubby has been struggling the frustration and hurt of some very one-sided friendships lately. I don't know how to help him. The poor guy just wants the guys he calls friend to treat him as such, and he just gets nothing back from these people. Makes me want to go slap them. When he hurts, I hurt. I keep trying to tell him that, but then he replies that he just won't tell me about these feelings anymore so as not to worry me. Marriage is hard. We're at our one year anniversary tomorrow (4/19/24!), and it has seriously been a grind. I love him very much, but Life keeps inserting itself to make things difficult. Anyway, enough of my personal diary for today. Go out and get 'er done.
