Y'all, I must not be feeling well. I did not want coffee this morning. Correction, I guess: I did not want to make my own coffee this morning. I would've been happy with an iced can of coffee. (I ended up making my own because I'm lazy and too cheap to drive to a shop and wait in line to spend $5.)

GM Nostr friends. So I've been around here for over a year now, and I'm trying to think if I can summarize my general approach to this new world of social media. I think I try to spread a little cheer and gentle encouragement. I have tried to be deliberate about it, because I am generally pretty sarcastic and more unfiltered in my face-to-face interactions. Nostr is the first online space where I've felt a sense of ownership, where instead of being the product, I am part owner. As such, I want to bring a sense of welcome to any who stumble to this corner of the internet, and make people feel seen (read?). Anyway, I dunno. Everybody doing okay today? I did a workout on my stationary bike last night, and now my butt is achy this morning.

GM Nostr friends. Bit headachy and general achy this morning. Didn't sleep well. I hate nights like that. My weight loss shot has me feeling kind of pukey this morning, to the point that coffee doesn't sound good. 😢 I still need caffeine though, and thankfully had a bottle of kombucha in the fridge. Watching Superb Owl a bit in the background. Really don't care about sports ball whatsoever. No snacks, and I just took my GLP-1 shot this morning, so not feeling hungry at all. Had a couple hardboiled eggs and a protein yogurt just so I wouldn't feel sick tomorrow morning. Rah rah, put the ball in the net or something. Enjoy those of you who live for the football!

GM Nostr friends! Starting off the day with some oatmeal and a cup of coffee. Sometimes the simple things taste the best. Watching our 'other' church online before we head out to our church in about half an hour. I have a sweet pup lying on my lap snoring softly. There's so special about having the love/loyalty of an animal.🥰

GM Nostr friends. It is still technically morning for another half hour! Hubby is off working at his mom's house for a few hours, so I took the opportunity to vacuum, mop, clean the kitchen, and get some loads of laundry done. Just showered and have been enjoying the pleasant ache of muscles used for a while as I scroll and just relax. Happy Saturday!

GM Nostr friends. It's Friday! Just finished listening to @Ungovernable Misfits Freedom Tech Friday live talking about the Apple ecosystem and its pros and cons regarding privacy and security. I've been a (mostly unwilling) iPhone user the last couple years now due to Hubby being heavily embedded in the ecosystem. I have my dad's old Android, so at least I can still dip my toes in to that side of things. Lots of thoughts about both, but I mainly miss my old Android. Applie is *okay*, but I get frustrated with the way some things are set up, and the general lack of customization options available. Anyway, looking forward to a quiet day as I finish off my coffee. Sigh. Just got biopsy results from the little skin bits they shaved off a couple weeks ago. Two (out of four total) need deeper excisions to make sure they get everything. I hate being pale. I just want to sit and soak up the sun, but my skin says, "Not today, not any day." ☀️

So many rabbit holes, so little time... Things I learned about so far today: Keet/Pearpass Reticulum NoorNote I need to start keeping a list of new projects I discover. My brain gets too full sometimes, but it's all interesting/exciting and I don't want to put down the shiny new thing!

GM Nostr friends. Coffee in hand, SAD lamp fired up, inner geek out to play. I've been playing with my new #Meshtastic node, and I love it. I live in a group of townhomes, so not really allowed to scale any poles to put up a transmitter, so I'm stuck in a "I can listen, but I can't send messages" black hole. I can't get my Wismesh high enough anywhere to make it worthwhile. Sigh. Hopefully I remember to bring it with the next time I'm out and about - maybe I can finally contribute to the local chatter. #MSPMesh Quiet day here otherwise. Lu has been really needy lately, so I'm trying to figure out what that means. She has started jumping up to paw on the side of my office chair, and wants me to pick her up so she can sit on my lap, and then wants to lick my hands while I'm trying to type. This is new behavior, and it worries me a bit. She will be 13 years old in April, and I don't know if she's trying to tell me she's in pain, bored, or just in need of extra affection. 🤷🏻‍♀️
