What is happening in Europe is nothing new, it is merely the result of decades of wrong policies. People are fed up, but they do not have the courage to protest. Those who do face methods worthy of the Gestapo, only now everything is done in the name of political correctness and democracy. For Europeans, there is no alternative like Trump, Milei, or Bukele, they will be prevented from gaining power, just as happened with the nationalist candidate in Romania when the elections were simply canceled, citing external interference. The EU and the UK are in the hands of corrupt globalists, and the population is captive and disoriented. If you try to say something, you are labeled far-right and arrested. Those who lived behind the Iron Curtain are already familiar with this, which is why Eastern Europe is much more aware that the woke politics of the West is completely wrong, and that is why it is not accepted in everyday life. Perhaps the West needs to go through some sort of revolutions that fundamentally change the political landscape, as happened at the end of the 1980s in Eastern Europe. It seems there is no safe shortcut to abundance. Of course, it sounds boring to tell someone that hodling Bitcoin and DCA-ing is the easiest path to escape fiat slavery. Few will believe you, and even fewer will follow the advice. A member of my extended family recently asked me about trading Bitcoin with leverage. Someone who is not technical, who has no prior trading knowledge, let alone knows what it means to trade with leverage. Someone who struggles to reset their password for an online account. Then I remembered that I had given him all the information that would have helped him escape slavery. On May 24, 2019, I created a Bitcoin wallet with him. I transferred him 0.00101467 BTC (worth €7.30 at that time) when the price was @ €7,200.63. I showed him the power of DCA, and I thought he understood, because he showed me how he had bought some Bitcoin from an ATM. I have no idea what deviated him from his course, the fact is that he no longer has any wallet or Bitcoin. Since May 24, 2019, Bitcoin has risen 1216%, and the only shortcut to getting here is to have patience, during which you can study better what Bitcoin is. But hey, who has time for that? We have a saying that goes: "God gives you, but He doesn't put it in your bag." If I were rude, I could have reminded him of this...

I'm not good at orange pilling, and that's why I don't make it a goal in itself to do it. But I have observed a characteristic that is common among most people who end up holding #Bitcoin for the first time. "Okay, but how will I change back into 'money' when Bitcoin is even more valuable?" The best answer to this is that meme with Neo from The Matrix. The time will come when you'll finally understand there will be no need to convert to fiat because Bitcoin, not USD or any other currency, will be the holy grail of standards. There will be no need to sell a valuable asset to buy and hold another less valuable one. It will be the ultimate medium of exchange, allowing you to purchase what you need directly with Bitcoin. I don’t know if fiat will become obsolete, but what I do believe is that transitioning through fiat will ultimately be pointless. Another issue with those who are orange pilled is the idea that Bitcoin is 𝙩𝙤𝙤 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚, and the regret that they didn't discover Bitcoin earlier, that they didn't pay attention to it at the right time and now it's too expensive. Bitcoin will always be too expensive because its very finite nature gives it this characteristic. It's going up forever... And there’s a fitting meme here. A picture is worth more than a thousand words. Those who understand Bitcoin are winners, as are those who think in Bitcoin rather than fiat.

Happy New Year to all bitcoiners and advocates of #freedom of expression! One of my resolutions this year is to not feed the beast. In the EU, the new #MiCA laws are merely a step toward limiting our freedoms, more restrictions will come. It is our choice to either submit and comply or to opt out and establish a parallel society of free individuals who answer to no one. #Bitcoin is under attack, as are we, those who use this wonderful creation. P2P, Lightning, mixing pools are our weapons, but it is not enough. To make them obsolete, we need to increase the pool of those who do not interact with the system under their control. #OptOut of fiat, if you have the opportunity, do not use their corrupt system, think and act in Bitcoin, not in fiat. Regarding freedom of expression, our tyrants have thought of something even more evil. The European Commission wants to eliminate chat encryption and to monitor all chat messages of citizens. This is Orwellian-level surveillance. Those who only submits without responding in any way is implicitly an accomplice who assists them in their dirty purpose. #Nostr can be our answer in the fight against the tyranny.
