Are people NOT using seed phrases for their nostr keys?

Any reason traitor-tracing keys strategy couldn't be utilized for a sort of only-zaps subscription model? Like group DMs. The client would have to support it for seamless decryption of the content. Note could only be seen and replied to by those with keys. Someone could rebroadcast but it'd still be encrypted. They could re-post but that's outside the scope of the solution.
