I listened to the podcast between @preston and @_Checkɱate 🔑⚡🌋☢️🛢️. I found it somewhat surprising that Preston didn’t think (maybe I’m wrong, but this was how it sounded to me) that Satoshi’s coins will be taken out someday. I think it’s inevitable. Not if, but when. @Jameson Lopp did a great keynote on the subject in Antwerpen. And if Satoshi isn't among us anymore to safeguard his coins, his stash will be taken by someone. This will send shockwaves through the markets. In someway, this could better sooner then later, before too much of the new financial system is linked to or build upon bitcoin.

Mindblowing that @primal is already better then X on some fronts. #NOSTR unlocks so much potential.

@miljan Primal on iOS is again 'freezing', like it won't refresh new notes. This is on chrome webbrowser and works just fine. Not to criticize, but give the feedback you've asked for couple of days earlier.

This is what Arthur Hayes is talking about. US01M (Light Blue) is below RRP rate (Orange) in preparation for rate cute coming. Money flows into RRP. This is negative for US Liquidity and thus (conform the 'Liquidity Theory') negative for liquidity sensitive assets, like #bitcoin. image

Looks like $RIOT and $CLSK are running a tight operation. They still need a higher hash price to make a profit when you include general costs. They need (and/or): - Higher BTC/USD price - Higher transaction fees - Lower difficulty image

Is there a way to write articles on NOSTR. And ideally with images, so you can write a paragraph, put in an image and continue writing the article? #nostr

I’m going through some 10-Q filings of public mining companies and will update with my findings. Here are some initial observations: • $CLSK Cleanspark originally had their depreciation period set at 5 years but revised it to 3 years, resulting in an impairment expense on fixed assets of $189 million, which is about 50% of their yearly revenue. • $RIOT Riot Platforms extended their depreciation period from 2 years to 3 years, which provided some relief in their results. • The mining operations of CLSK result in a total cost per BTC of $69,617 • The total company operates at a cost of $80,840 per BTC. This excludes the impairment expense on their S19 machines, which will be replaced by the end of 2024.

Former Dutch Central Bank Executive is absolutely spot on: ''The real problem is the intertwining of the government with (large) corporations and NGOs (activist groups). The Netherlands is a corporatist welfare state. Worth mentioning in this regard is also the politicization of science and the considerable one-sidedness of the traditional press (including government initiatives to tackle 'disinformation')."

This chart is wild. This is the 1 month change in Long Term Holders Realized Cap expressed in USD. It's because of a lot of coins moved towards ETF custodian wallets 5 months ago. Those coins are now maturing from STH to LTH coins. Those coins have an USD value of almost 70 billion dollars. h/t @Bitcoin Research Kit image
