Been busting ass lately and have earned a nightly sweetie. Good bread buttered and toasted, real peanut buttah and no sugar added raspberry jam. God it’s fucking good. image

As hard and frustrating as building stuff can be I absolutely love it. Not sure why but I always feel my best when I’m suffering in the heat and making nice things.

Deck turned out nice. Hatches so clean you can barely tell they’re there. Fuck it’s hot up here. Building a cover for this heat pump, clean up and I’m done with this job ✅ image

After seeing Sparrow wallet passed all audits with flying colors and reading more about how Sparrow handles the BIP39 passphrase and protects private keys I’m curious why a software wallet (via Sparrow) with a strong passphrase isn’t a viable long-term solution? Or at minimum at least viable as one (convenient) key in a 2/3 multi sig setup. Can people who understand this stuff on a technical level explain what I am missing in the trade offs? #asknostr

Be very careful burying your keys. If you don’t have a way to remember exactly where you buried yer keys they will easily get lost. Volume is very deceiving and dirt is unforgiving. Can’t imagine how much gold has been lost to careless burying over the millennia.

As Omar Little once famously said: “it’s all in the game, yo.” That’s what I’ve really realized now. Understanding that everyone could be bad actor is the only reasonable way to operate in this game. Onward, but as a harder adversary. View quoted note →

Bitcoin doesn’t get to where it’s going without a lot of bloody battles. If you’re on this mission, better be a warrior. There will be many more casualties.

A good metaphor for modern politics is: *choose who to set free, a murderer or a rapist* Not choosing, it’s a lose lose. Why would I participate in a rigged game? Guaranteed loss. It’s also funny because these federal politicians are all implicit murderers and most of them are probably (definitely) rapists as well.
