The amount of cumulative time I’ve spent removing tracking IDs after URLs when pasting links… I refuse to perpetuate this stuff as a matter of principle.

Another way in which #nostr is superior, I suppose!

The opposite of globalist.
Americans, are you so flush with cheap energy you find yourselves struggling to give it away?
Apparently those dastardly #Bitcoin miners aren’t using nearly enough of the stuff because we’re considering wiring it over to Europe.
Mind you, likely more sensible than Trudeau’s Hydrogen-to-Germany idea.

Internet outages in Africa due to “damaged cables”. Lots of choke-points globally for data traffic; this stuff is a lot less chunky than a Nordstream pipe.
Not sure how much resilience Starlink adds as I’m sure their ground stations are using the fibre trunk networks, but hopefully there’s some useful network decentralization effects building.

$MSTR $1800 after hours.
Oh boy.
I sold a couple today at $1750, thereby ensuring the squeeze will continue to infinity. You’re welcome.
Watched the Taylor Sheridan interview on the Joe Rogan podcast recently, lots of discussion on the absolutely outstanding “1883”.
One of the main points I took from it is how close in time huge societal changes really are, and that our collective memory is very short.
Many things lie downstream of this, but anyway, here’s the US obesity rate tripling inside a single generation.

Just back from Dune Part 2, fun; loooong, but lovely cinematography. Good IMAX experience.
Life phases: now wearing concert plugs to all movies, tinnitus much better behaved with the volume 20% down.
As well as the anti-freedom money pretext, this of course would result in precedent for the grubby marxists to pick other “clean” and “unclean” uses of energy and start taxing our consumption accordingly.
Energy is life. Bitcoin is the thin end of the wedge. View quoted note →
Anyone blogging on nostr? Lots of articles point to blogstack.io but site seems to be unreachable. habla.news seems fairly slick - any others?
Out in the garden clearing recent windfall and fruit-tree pruning debris. Not much evidence of spring yet, still pretty cold up here, but some crocuses trying their best. Welcome back, friends.

There’s been a lot of “where’s retail?” talk recently. Well, two things today scared me a little. Both marked prior tops.
1. Got dragged into a WhatsApp group chat as “the crypto guy” to advise on what degenerate meme coin to buy next. People I’ve not spoken to in over a year.
2. CFO pings me on Slack to discuss his personal crypto strategy (bought in last time we were over 60k).
Hmm.
How’s your day going?
Honestly, any time I get the urge to sell any $MSTR I just have to listen to @Michael Saylor speak and my lettuce hands harden back to diamond.
Good job, @nat brunell!

Back over 66, omg. This ride is hilarious 😂
Welcome, ETF folks. Bit different from the ‘ole Vanguards, this!
Dune and #Bitcoin

Noticed some issues logging into bank trading platforms this AM and it reminded me of prior tumultuous weeks in the market, nothing worse than being locked out, looking in.
So much less impactful these days as so much of my net worth is unbanked.
Progress!
Sunday evening mood. Had forgotten how much I liked this album, hidden gem.
Late nineties a good era for spawning Manchester bands, Elbow preceded Doves by a year.
