Our getaway is on a small island. One of our neighbours is recently ex-Google Gemini. No longer wants anything to do with the industry and is prepping furiously.
They’re all at it. At some point there will be a suddenly-then-all-at-once moment for #Nostr. Likely six months or so as a shining beacon of free expression before its use is criminalized and we’re all off to the gulags.

Part of our Christmas routine is listening to seasonal music on an old analogue AM radio while wrapping presents. Nostalgia is so rewarding.
Merry Christmas, everyone.
Mid-December and these babies are still crisp on the tree. Left a bunch up after harvest for a longer fruit picking season. Love Russets! #foodstr #homesteading

It is astonishing how quickly the iron curtain is coming down on freedom in Europe. Mandatory digital ID for social media (“to protect the kids!”) removes the last shreds of anonymous internet use, banking is obviously following with the digital Euro and the curtailment of physical cash. In Europe it’s overt, because the populations allow it, but it’s happening everywhere eventually. Shocking to be living through these times.
