Does anyone know how to make a NOSTR bot? I will use it for good.

Is it me or is NOSTR a sausage fest?
One of the reasons I can stand the "the sheep are going to get enslaved" talk is: It won't be just the sheep.
Some of the people around you, people who are doing their level best to remain free, will probably be captured too.
A person can do everything right and still fail, can still slip up.
People who talk like this, I can't see as virtuous at all. Nor heroic.
The ruling class is useful. Make the mighty righteous and we all can thrive.
I changed my mind. Following a lot of people right away was a mistake.
While I still think you should follow a lot of people to have a good experience. Instead you should build your follow list from scratch. "A lot" will be relative. I have had ~750, I feel like I see mostly vacuous bullshit and I miss most of the notes I find interesting or insightful.
Maybe if I had simply been less discerning with my follows early on I would have found a better density for myself before curating.
I'm going to laugh if uncensored free speech is the reason humanity goes extinct.
Conflict-free Replicated Data Types
I first learned about these today when I was playing around with sqlite3 and watching some tutorials:

People are getting really triggered by the word "normie" today.
Maybe I just need to create a list, and the assign-a-weight functionality would not actually be a good user experience.
I really wish I could assign a weight to my follows so I could see the ones I want to see the most first. I know I could trim my follows, but that also isn't what I want. I like all the people I follow, just some put out certain content I would like to give priority.
Once you understand that pretty much everyone in the west is a liberal, even conservatives, it makes it much easier to break out of false diacotomy of thought there. There isn't one, only hegemony.
A vast majority of people in both groups all believe in the same things. They both want the same things, just their time preference is different. Conservatives want to move slow, Progressives want to move fast.
Take immigration, for example, talk to almost any conservative and they have no problem with immigrants, as long has they follow the process and do it legally (slow). Progressives just want open borders (fast).
Hence the adage: Conservatives are Progressives driving the speed limit. (h/t @MichaelMalice)
Welp. Tonight is one of those nights. One where I am lying in bed wondering just what the hell I'm doing here. Nostr is cool, it's interesting, but it's turning into another time waster. Something I use to procrastinate. Now I should be asleep. During the day I should be working, growing, learning.
The devs don't have this issue, they're out there making stuff. @jack doesn't. He's a man of few words, I've noticed. he's out there focused on his mission instead.
It doesn't feel like I have one. I'm also searching for the healthy balance between not getting wrapped up with tech I don't need and doing something worthwhile with my time.
I like it on here. It's sane and many here are like-minded in a few ways. But it using leaves me feeling empty just like other social media.
Anyways, my thoughts are not very well put together. I can only apologize. I'll probably regret posting. Regardless:
Tomorrow is a new day.
I need to get better at saying: "I don't know"
It's annoying when software developers give you a pgp signature. But no certificate I can verify it against.
@Weatherall what is your favorite forbidden book?
