Popehat getting banned from BlueSky might be the funniest thing I've read all morning.

I really don't understand console generations at this point. If the PS6 will be backwards compatable with PS4 and PS5 games, and you are an indie dev, why not make a PS4 game? Why does the number of the console mean something is outdated versus the power needed to run the game?
A thought: in jury selection, as the defense, attempt to stack the jury with incels to protect against high value loss of consortium demands that could resonate with jurors.
When rewatching old shows, a general rule of thumb for me is to skip:
* clip show episodes
* episodes where they turned it into a musical
* episodes that rely heavily on dream sequences
It's not 100%, but as a general rule it works well.
Historical societies are funny things:
"Oh man, I'd love to see how Main Street looked in the 70's."
"Sorry, the best we can do is the 1870's"
Zoomers like to shit on Millennials for their pretentious hipster craft beers, but they fail to see it as an example of local brands clawing back market share from mega brands like Budweiser. Would have been cool if this trend continued and pulled in other products.
More progress on my Santroller build. This is a PS3 Rock Band 2 wireless guitar. I 3d printed an new input jack as well as a mount for my pico. I started extending wires so they plug in. The whammy, tilt, pickup selector, and home button are still left to do (ran out of solder)

I found a whole thread where people were basically coming clean and admitting how much they like Bob Seger. A friend of mine did something similar a couple years ago. Alright, what's going on with Bob Seger? Why the Bob Seger shame?
Scrolling through Steven Spielberg's filmography trying to figure out what I consider to be his last great movie. I'm probably being too hard on the 2000s, but man the 2010s were kind of rough...
Money being fungible is definitionally true, but realistically not true when you are married. You can test this by bumming $20 from your wife's random funds jar.
I don't need 200 couches to sleep tight, ones fine thank you.
Wisp out, Dark Wisp in.
I wouldn't have a crashout on Nostr. There's 24 people here, it would be like having a crashout at work or something. If you're going to have a crashout, do it on Twitter.
The first Kingdom Hearts game came out in 2002. Every time a new game in the franchise is announced, the first thought that pops into my head is: "Who is playing this shit and why?"
We're inching toward summer and my wife is going to ask me to put in the AC soon, but I don't want to because I'm cheap...

"This is generative AI slop! I support artists!"
Then proceeds to buy a game designed by committee, which is derivative, regurgitated, and vetted by teams of consultants to not offend anyone so it can be easily digested by the masses and then quickly forgotten.
I think the general opinion of the internet right now is that IGN always sucked. I don't share that opinion - during the PS2/Gamecube/XBox era, IGN was actually pretty great.
