Caught the LotR 25th Anniversary Rereleases this weekend. It amazes me how good the CGI was back then. Things really haven't gotten much better in 25 years. Yeah, theres more CGI now and they can do more with it, but it isn't any more convincing.

Taking the plunge with UGCs. Yeah they take up more space on the shelf, cost a bit, and aren't worth anything if I ever had to liquidate, but I'm a sucker for uniformity. 25 down, who knows how much left to go.

There's some truth to Sean Lennon's recent comments to CBS about people forgetting the Beatles. I remember when everyone would go on and on about how overrated the Beatles were, now everyone wants to talk about how much Nirvana always sucked. That's how the world works.

I really wish Microsoft would sell off the Xbox brand. They won't, and the math doesn't math, but I still want it. I really loved the brand in the OG and 360 eras. Instead they are going to suck every piece of meat off the carcass before casting it aside.
