Taking the plunge with UGCs. Yeah they take up more space on the shelf, cost a bit, and aren't worth anything if I ever had to liquidate, but I'm a sucker for uniformity. 25 down, who knows how much left to go.
There's some truth to Sean Lennon's recent comments to CBS about people forgetting the Beatles. I remember when everyone would go on and on about how overrated the Beatles were, now everyone wants to talk about how much Nirvana always sucked. That's how the world works.
The "turkey is disgusting" crowd runs around saying you have to do so much with it to actually make it taste good - so they apparently eat plain chicken all year?
I really wish Microsoft would sell off the Xbox brand. They won't, and the math doesn't math, but I still want it. I really loved the brand in the OG and 360 eras. Instead they are going to suck every piece of meat off the carcass before casting it aside.
I call other countries shitholes all the time, and I'm okay when they call my country a shithole (even Europeans, maybe). Hell, we can shit on Massachusetts together. The thing is, I won't apologize for any of it, ever, because thats dumb.
I guess there goes my book deal...
I look forward to seeing Tilly Norwood in films. Tilly Norwood will not lecture me about gun control or climate change, and Tilly Norwood will displace some actress who will. Maybe her brother Billy Norwood can take some roles from Pedro Pascal.
Slop is preferable to screeching.
The alleged conversation between the shooter and his boyfriend is the fakest shit I've ever seen. It doesn't have em dashes, but an LLM might as well have written it.
I find the whole "it doesn't matter what difficulty you play the game at as long as you are having fun" thing cringey, because it leads people to believe that they are entitled to finish any game.
I'm sorry, not everyone gets to roll the credits. Not every game is for you.
My view on desktop operating systems in a nutshell. The pendulum swings every 6 months to a year. The solution is dual booting with separate hard drives but I'm not there yet.
I will give the Windows folks credit, at least they admit it sucks.
