Mother's Day tradition - we always try to do something outside. Took the kids on an easy hike today. I love boardwalks on trails, so I snapped a quick picture before one of the kids lost their shoe in the pond. #outdoorstr
Every generation's music offends their parents in some way. My running theory is that the next generation's music would offend in how bland and uninspired it is.
I will give Kanye credit, he seems to have found one of the few areas left where the actual content still offends.
I buy games:
1. Physically
2. Digitally on GOG
3. Reluctantly, after steep price drops, usually years after release, and accepting that I don't actually own the game, I'm just paying for a license that can be taken away at any time.
DOOM: The Dark Ages will fall into category 3.

"Everything the AI touches... is the corporate world. But a desk jockey's time fine tuning AI slop rises and falls like the sun. One day, the sun will set on my time behind a bunch of screens, and will rise with you as new slop custodian." - me, to my children.
Look Gen Z, I get it, but you haven't seen cringe yet. In that Millennial generation, there is a subgroup of females and males who didn't have a lot of guy friends born in the late 80's and beyond. They will show you unfathomable levels of cringe, just give it time...
So I saw Thunderbolts last night...
Halfway through the movie, I realized how tired I am of overly soft people writing everything. Writers, you can focus on the human side of things without dragging your audience through a prolonged therapy session.
Watching Watchmen for the first time in forever. The Directors Cut is the way to go, avoid the Ultimate Cut. The Tales Of The Black Freighter sections worked okay in the book, but feel weird and tacked on in the movie.
Anyone else have favorite starting words? I have two that I stick to that have served me well (other than yesterday's smite, spite, suite bullshit).
