I am in the pro-edit camp. I'm agnostic on how it gets done. Edits are a feature that users pay for on Twitter. Edits exist on Mastodon. I don't think Bluesky has edits, but Bluesky sucks. If Nostr can't offer more than Twitter and Mastodon it shouldn't exist. Simple as that.

I think if I was a game company that put out games on old consoles years ago, and I wanted to combat the proliferation of roms, I'd get someone to hack up an emulator thats out of spec for what the system could originally do, and then I'd sell the game with bonus content that relied on that spec.

I try to limit my bitcoin talk on nostr, especially about price, but I'm allowed one slip up: I was on a conference call yesterday and a colleague that I've worked with for over 10 years started talking bitcoin. It was wild. I've never met anyone who is into bitcoin in real life. Now, with the price probably hitting 100K today, it dawned on me that if he's sitting on a fat stack and retires early we're all screwed at work. Employers should start getting nervous.
