The "girls find guys who game unattractive" thing does the rounds every couple of months and I take the bait every time.
My tinfoil hat is that this whole issue pops up because families are getting smaller and there are a lot of girls who grew up without brothers.
My advice: get a copy of KOTOR 1 and 2 now while they're on sale.
The OG Dark Forces got pulled when the new remaster came out (which is a good remaster for the record). That said, if a KOTOR remake ever sees the light of day, the powers at be will ruin it and pull the original.

Update: this book is pretty cool. I like the world Gibson creates...in those moments when I understand what the hell he's talking about.
