If you want true freedom you must accept that people you find despicable get free speech too. I hope Primal can remain neutral and avoid censoring speech, but the beauty of Nostr is that switching clients takes 2 seconds. I have no reason to think that Primal would start censoring/banning people sharing their opinions but I see where things are going and I expect there will be divide and conquer psy ops, top-down pressure and a lot more to stop the freedom revolution. More to share on this later but really it comes down to principles. If your principles and actions are not aligned that’s hypocrisy/ a contradiction. If it’s illegal, censor it and report it to the authorities. If not, let it go. Users can mute that content. Let the market decide.

If I was a billionaire I’d be doing exactly what I’m doing right now… Making a bitcoin documentary in Bulgaria, traveling the world attending bitcoin conferences and podcasting. That’s the gift bitcoin gave me. I know my time and energy will be safe and now I live life on my own terms.

My time in Sofia ended just as it should with the legendary Bulgarian bitcoin educator Plamen Andonov. We had absolutely wild rip that got me thinking in new ways about bitcoin’s history, current threats and the path forward.

I try to always keep an open mind and avoid absolute certainty. But I found the hill I’m willing to die on. Bitcoin is money. Not “collateral” or digital gold or whatever else the people trying to get your bitcoin want you to think.

Found another way to put my @daylightco to work. I wonder if this has been done before… probably not but fun to speculate.

@daylightco DC-1 has been my go-to for note taking and capturing ideas while filming on the go. Very happy with the product so far! Today I spoke with @trepechov about his journey making a fully functional lightning ATM prototype. Got fiat coins? You can now ditch them for the hardest money known to man. @Stoyan Petrov nailed it. When it comes to bitcoin adoption: The builders are making things happen. The HODLers are watching things happen. And the no-coiners are asking, “wtf is happening?!?” I love this take. Couldn’t put it better myself.

Last day in Plovdiv! Great insights from author and podcaster Ivan Ivanoff. We talked about his journey to understand why bitcoin is fundamentally different than crypto, the importance of self custody, why fiat is a game with broken rules and what he’s learned making over 800 videos.

ALMOST everything has been going our way in Bulgaria. Spent the day on the toilet with food poisoning and lost a productive day. But grateful to be feeling better already and looking forward to finishing the journey strong. 💪 Thank you to everyone who’s supported us and made this such an epic adventure.
