How about a generic Trusted Assertions hackathon? Integrate TAs into an existing client or make a new one. Could be health related but doesn’t have to be. First place gets 3 month support. Maybe line up for OpenSats after that.

I know of two nostr profile keyword search services that use some kind of WoT score to stratify results:
@profilestr which calculates a trust score, although I’m not sure how.
@Pip the WoT guy ‘s npub.world which uses personalized pagerank
What other similar services are there?

Would be interesting to set up a routine to request large volume FOIA and see where we get redactions or other forms of pushback. Like all congressional email correspondences. Put out a monthly report called “I don’t know what they’re hiding, but here’s where they’re hiding it”. Or even better, have AI do the analysis and update the report in real time.

Listening to @Shawn interview @OpnState on @Trust Revolution and got intrigued by POLIS, Taiwan’s transparent governance platform, led by former Minister Audrey Tang.
I think we can (and should, and eventually will) implement something like POLIS on nostr. First, we need basic infrastructure to support decentralized personalized web of trust metrics. By infrastructure, I mean a marketplace of third party providers of personalized trust metrics. @Vertex is one example. My vision is for Brainstorm to become another. And I’d love to see more third party providers develop over time.
Brainstorm will communicate trust metrics in a variety of ways, one of which will be @Vitor Pamplona ‘s NIP-85, Trusted Assertions. The most important trust metric in NIP-85 is “rank” which is a number between 0 and 100. For Brainstorm-generated Trust Assertions (kind 30382 events), the “rank” score will be supplied by the GrapeRank score.
So imagine an ecosystem where every user has the opportunity to generate personalized trust metrics, including a “rank” metric which reliably screens out bots based on your trusted community. Could this be a building block for a nostr-POLIS? Yes. Absolutely.
