GN Nostr I’m not going to bed yet but I do need to get away from my phone. Our monkey brains are programmed to remember the things we survived so that we can avoid them. I try to take extra time to observe the beautiful things so those things stay in my head and I try to forget the ugly things because they are of no use to me really, working in aesthetics.

Sometimes you just have to dance around the house.

My trouble sometimes stems from liking to have fun. My friends and I have a name for her, Nadia. She’s extremely naughty and when they pull out the stories, sometimes my defense is “oh you’re talking about Nadia again, couldn’t be me.” If I have a drink (or two) or when I used to smoke cannabis, or sometimes for no reason at all other than wanting to be silly. She comes out. Sometimes she’s begged for and summoned. She’s harmless (mostly) but she does cause a stir. I’m aware this is me and I like her, she’s fun.

Turns out those birds of prey will find me no matter what time I hit the trail.

#runstr I’m going to have to switch to mornings these shorter days have me messed up. I was too focused on work and I almost missed all the daylight. And to the clowns with very short memories who pay no attention to detail who are hell bent on disparaging my name: it’s Helen. I’m a woman. I was introduced to Nostr a year ago by a friend who knows what I do. I’ve told everyone my age even given pictures, proof of work, my son for goodnesss sakes. I would show you my cute running outfit but these clowns don’t deserve to know what color socks I got on.

Hostility on my photo posts has become absurd, which is why you rarely see them anymore. I don't tolerate bad-faith attacks in real life and I won't host them here either. If you go out of your way to be hostile, consider yourself muted.
