For those following along the fountain project, concrete was poured and now we wait the full 28 days for the concrete to reach its optimal compressive strength before building it up which is the correct protocol for a water bearing structure.

I’m always surprised when the trails are empty. It’s peaceful and I’m grateful, it feels like luxury. Strange to drive by crowded Starbucks and freeway traffic on the way. The juxtaposition feels like a bizarre glitch and like I somehow found the cheat code.
