Research on feline behavior suggests cats do not see humans as a separate or superior species. Instead, they perceive us as oversized, hairless, and surprisingly clumsy cats who are terrible at hunting. I perfectly captured the moment my cat looked at me in annoyance because I wouldn’t jump over a bush with her to check out a bird. She about faced and marched up to me with this disapproving look on her face. I can see she thinks I am useless. 😆

It’s very interesting the way my life is changing from simply giving up alcohol and cannabis this year. The hardest thing to navigate has been who to spend my time with so that I will not be tempted to abandon my resolve. My social group has shifted in an amazing and surprising/exciting way very quickly. I’m interested to see what else changes this year as its only the 15th of January.
