It's impossible to code with Claude 4 via @PayPerQ because I always end up hitting a token limit. Even for single file changes or a simple refactoring of a single function. What am I doing wrong? I don't have this problem with Deepseek.

I've been learning japanese every day for a whole year now but I have not reached my goal of effortless reading and listening comprehension yet. Maybe another year will do it.
I've been spending more time on Voyage lately because other clients don't work well on slow internet. It's pretty lean but still quite wasteful for what it aims to be.
The next updates I'm working on will fix that.
Gitplaza v0.2.0 resolves the issue with comments not loading, introduces basic kanban boards and adds theme selection.
The kanban boards are not modifiable right now, which means you can't add/remove/rename columns. And adding cards is also not possible from the board view. You'd first have to create a git issue in the parent repo for it to show up as a kanban card.
And no drag&drop for now because I didn't understand how to implement it with Iced 😅

Simple Kanban Boards by dluvian · Pull Request #1804 · nostr-protocol/nips
A simple way to do Kanban Boards because #1665 is too complex.
I intend to implement this in GitPlaza soonish but I hope I can get some feedback fi...
Codeberg is slow af
I've just released the first version of GitPlaza, a GitHub alternative built on Nostr. It's written in Rust, uses Iced for the GUI and rust-nostr for nostr stuff.
Current features:
- Login via nsec
- Activity feed for the people you follow (only issue creation)
- Create issues
- Comment on issues
You can download it here:
Or check the instructions on the readme to self-compile it.
Thanks to @Yuki Kishimoto for his excellent rust-nostr library.

Reading ãƒãƒªãƒ¼ãƒ»ãƒãƒƒã‚¿ãƒ¼ is surprisingly digestible. I encounter many unknown words but the sentences have a simple structure so I can often infer the meaning and looking them up doesn't interrupt the my flow. I tried reading other novels in japanese which have way fewer unknown words but my head just couldn't understand any sentences. Maybe it's because it's a translated novel and not natively written in japanese.
I use Lute for reading foreign language texts which shows the percentage of unknown words. ãƒãƒªãƒ¼ãƒ»ãƒãƒƒã‚¿ï¼ consists of 20% unknown words and is an easier read than the books I found with under 10% unknowns
My git stuff client is public now. I will release the first version after fixing some bugs. But don't expect much, it only supports issues and nip22 comments.

GitWorkshop.dev
Decentralized github alternative over Nostr
@Yuki Kishimoto is it possible to use the underlying http client of nostr-relay-pool to make regular http requests or do I have to include a new dependency to some http lib for this?
@DanConwayDev Is there a unified way to get the Readme.md from different git servers or how do you do it in gitworkshop.dev?
For example GitHub has a different API for that than Codeberg.
I've been using Lute v3 daily for a month now, and I've found it to be a a lot more effective than grinding Anki. It's certainly more fun.
I have read 90k terms and encountered 8,069 unique ones.
4,331of those terms are learned/well known.
Today I learned that Macapuno is just a mutated coconut. I always thought it's jelly made from regular coconuts.
You can unstall Lute-v3 on your phone via Termux🤯
Voyage's apk is now under 10MB thanks to optimizations in rust-nostr.
Better/fixed p-tag selection:
### 🛠Improvements
- Force nip22 usage when reply has 6 or less characters

I found something:
I wish it showed me my known word count but other than that it's exactly what I was looking for.

Every few weeks I get sick of Anki and delete my decks just to change my mind a few days later and create a new one.
I never used Anki to learn English and Spanish but for some reason I feel the need to use it for Japanese.
Is there an ebook reader that manages a known word database, highlights unknown words while reading and lets you add words to said database? There has to be one. It sounds super easy to implement.
Basically something like Lingq but offline, fast and with a simple UI without this streak and coin bs.
