I am an enemy of #TheFeed -------------- Please, #ProoveMeWrong. Being #right, lately, about anything continues to leave me in #pain for the path #humanity in general is following. I worry about what I am experiencing with #Nostr. Underline "I am experiencing." What you experience may be different. Whether it is because I am aging a lot faster than women my age, my personal physical, mental, spiritual, familial crises; or the fact that I have never fit in ANYWHERE throughout my entire life... I am noticing the same pattern I've seen on "normie" platforms coming to a nostr client near you... The fact that so many of us have so much to say, will fight for such, but then what's said either falls on deaf ears, or on dried up fields where our seeds are picked up by the birds going non-germinated, can be disheartening & thoroughly isolating. I'm sad by the fact that now that Nostr is gaining traction, it is starting to feel like yet another FEED. I honestly have never liked the concept of a feed. One feeds farm animals so we can eat them . The FEED becomes this laziness tool equivalent to the FWD FWD FWD email chains of the 1990's. At least then there was a little greater effort. We went from not visiting, to not writing letters/postcards, to not phone calling, to not emailing directly, to not texting, to not visiting directly the profile pages of those who we "follow" or "follow us" because we've decided to rely on THE FEED. The feed has taught us to crave connection that you will not get unless you play by the FEED's rules and pay what wants you to pay, only to then also DECIDE 4us what we see, what we read, & who we can connect with by the almighty & all knowing algorithm which we choose to believe is a neutral or benign entity which wouldn't harm us ever. The Feed is truly the antithesis to what we thought the benefit of the internet was going to be. Hate me for this #UnpopularTake ? It's not like I don't think it can be resolved. Exorcise the spirit of #sloth that inhabits in the #convenience of the feed. Interact with one another. Yes, I know, some folks will say, "well, we can't interact with everybody, blah, blah, blah..." That is true, but it also means you're choosing "stardom," using your elevated speaker phone, over forming thick & solid connections. We can't connect with everybody, but we can connect with some. Do not be a hog waiting at the trough. Choose to be the little girl on the beach, making a difference for one #starfish at a time keeping the nostr spirit alive! 🧡💜🧡💜🧡💜🧡💜

To the very kind #Nostrcihes who have been #praying for me & my sisters. The damage to our mini-van due to my husband's accident, as shaken up as he is, he is resolved to try & repair it himself. Such is the strong will of the do it yourselfer. Thank you for your prayers because (I hope he is correct in his assessment) because he believes it is not totaled. What transpired: He's been under a lot heavy sadness with what happened to my mother & the fact that my FIL fell & hurt himself on Christmas eve as well. 2 days ago, my husband had been working on our mini-van doing a routine repair & maintenance to the PCV valve. He shut & latched the hood. He was driving on the 2 lane highway going 50MPH when the hood opened suddenly like a tin can crashing violently against the windshield which shattered completely. The force was such that the framing of the top of the windshield dented and partially collapsed. He almost lost control of the van, but thankfully God & his angels must have been watching because he veered to the side of the road, as opposed into the incoming traffic in the opposite lane and stopped short from hitting the posts of the vineyard fencing. My husband lives with decades long life-altering injuries from having been almost killed by a truck driver who fell asleep at the wheel and crashed on to his truck head on. My husband saved that woman's life that day by extracting her out of her burning rig, and injuring himself further. I know God chose not to steal my husband away from me 2 days ago, and for that I have to be infinitely grateful despite the extreme pain of my mother's loss on the 3rd of this month. As hard as these struggles are, and yes, they too are financial hardships due to the nature of what they are, I forgot to ask to please not #zap me. Not because I don't want or need it. But because I recognize that we all are struggling in many, many ways, and if I am sharing this here with you it's because I really mainly need #Prayer Warriors. The power of it is insane and I feel like we actually forget. I do intend (WITH INTENT!!!) to #Contribute to our #Nostr #community, hopefully in the near future with #Art, art, and more art. I do intend to make my images available to be seen and enjoyed and I also intend to be able to offer physical works as thank you gifts to those who may love my art enough to want to support me with their #sats. Thank you so much for your patience & kindness towards me. I am forever grateful. hurting, sad, contemplatively grateful. We can BE what we want to SEE in others.
