I want to learn to live a #primitive #pioneer lifestyle.
I grew up in abject poverty. We had no #electricity nor running water during my #childhood.
We had major #foodInsecurity. Yet, there were a few glimpses of happiness, amid the #violence and the #poverty.
I hustled and was quite #entrepreneurial throughout.
Today, my "convenient" #American life is being disturbed.
Not only by the fact that our family neighborhood has been turned into a state-enabled hub for #WelfareQueens harboring criminals, dealers, thugs that the state protects. (How could they not?); but also by the fact that, as the only homeowners, any property maintenance on the roof over our head falls on us. Today, well, the husband has been needing to play electrician.
As an ex-government agent, I can remind you all that the #state is not here to resolve any problems.
It's here to pretend to resolve problems, but they really need those problems to continue.
They, in fact, need those problems to proliferate.
You have to think of how a #corporation runs.
In order to continue getting the continued capital they need, they must show #profits to bolster the confidence of #investors.
Corporations (depending on their line of business) are charged with the obligation of growth. (I too worked in the corporate world, I too partnered in a corporation).
As tired as I am at the moment, I can't rack my brain to find examples of successful no-growth corporations.
I'm not trying to shit on businesses, I'm all for entrepreneurship. However, this characteristic of the current socioeconomic system we live in continues to prove time and time again the failures of its own sustainability. We're not talking about "green" measures here, just plain survivability.
#Entropy moves into just about anything, but can we agree that it moves into some systems faster and with more impact than in others?
Just like in corporatism, government needs to be the cancer, the parasite that must grow and grow eating of its host.
So, why resolve problems, when such problems are the ones that keep you funded?
Why fix anything for anyone when the #FED can simply fund you and enrich you for your continuously "REQUIRED SERVICES"?
Same as with a corporation which looks to solve a need or it identifies a gap to try and supply that need or cover that gap; the need and the gap themselves become the reason of such corporations/government agencies to EXIST.
No need, no demand. No need, no supply.
Where does the desire to learn a pioneer/primitive lifestyle fit into this?

#Statism and #Corporatism have #Dependence in common. Hence the reason why #Totalitarianism & #Monopolism seem to always be their "most successful" stages, their ultimate ways to have reached the so sought-after "cornering of the market".
I am naive, I'm sure, even at my old age.
But isn't due to the failures of #statism and #corporatism that #Bitcoin had to be given birth to?

I honestly believe that #btc and #nostr rekindled a fire in me. One to try to be as self-reliant as possible.
A corporation and a government may not like that in us. They need us to be dependent and reliant on their product / service, hence the large number ways they impose on all of us to control us.
Am I all for #FreeMarkets? I am. The question is, who is defining #FreeMarket for who.
I am naive because I sometimes forget how sick I am and how poorly I can get.
But in my moments of my perceived #lucidity I DO see myself thriving in my #imagination. I have to think it to be it.
I see myself conserving as much energy, being frugal about my resources, my utilization of goods, services; and wasting as little as possible.
Directing my energy where it matters: run my node, produce power to mine? Who knows.
Trying to get healthier so I can learn more, share what I learn, grow real relationships/circular economies... Frugally giving my hard made/hard earned sats in a voluntary and wilful exchange for as hardly made/produce goods/services.
BTC makes the peer to peer transaction that much more FAIR. It reduces friction and minimizes the animosity in negotiation.

Have you known of any billion+ valued corporation and government that is as decentralized, open-source and transparent as #Bitcoin?

How will Bitcoin #Plebs & #nostriches #thrive if the system followed & very deeply programmed into us is one that completely enables & supports a #FIAT mindset and behaviors??
How do you see a return to some primitive/pioneer lifestyles, in as many aspects of your routine as possible, enabling the bringing forth of the replacement of the FIAT system by a supercharged #BitcoinStandard?
