Spent all day at work wondering why my node went offline and my miners switched to their fallback pools, ruling out a power outage. Finally got home and it wouldn't turn on. Turns out the cats must've been rough housing behind the TV and managed to unplug just my node.
Crisis averted.

Torrenting movies is cool and all I really use now since cancelling all my streaming subscriptions, but goddamn the buffering to 33% and audio desyncing when I'm just trying to watch Brunflefly vomit drop the dude's arm and leg during the last 12 minutes of "The Fly" is frustrating AF.
Happy New Quality Lear or something

Two weeks of heating my bedroom in the drafty ass house with a Canaan Mini 3

Seeing quantum fud, miner capitulation/hashrate drop, concerns about custodians, treasury company collapse, leverage washouts, clockwork "whale" selling, fork proposals, abysmal sentiment, influencer disappointment and hearing Tone Vays try to explain what he considers an "economic" node.

Max Payne would be hitting a block while I'm testing Ocean pool with Datum.

After some confusions, tinkering and testing, I've noticed that when I point a bitaxe from my job site to ocean, the shares come in slow and roughly every ten minutes.
When I point the miner I've got at my house to my node with Datum, to their pool, my shares and hashrate are registering regularly every 60 seconds.
Think I might still stick to the solo mining in the end but... Interesting to me at least.
