I'm just going to abuse the hell out of cashu for zaps from now on I think, rather than clutter my connections in Alby hub. Can't seem to get nwc working with cashu.me but I can just load up what I want to zap into minibits wallet and use that. Then I can just funnel anything between that and my lightning node. I'm reluctant to use cash for onboarding, but if they have other means to remove it from the mint to a more self custodial lightning wallet/channel... It's just too slick for me to ignore.

Maybe I'll do the Dan thing now.

The party not in power vs the party in power whenever it comes to releasing anything about a pedophelic trafficking ring relating to powerful individuals and institutions capable implementing increasingly more personally restrictive laws and surveillance tools on the citizens to make sure no one is misbehaving while claiming it's a push for more a egalitarian worldview while somehow avoiding falling under that umbrella.

I've always hated social media, A Facebook I rarely used for anything. Weird incentives to out outcompete, put on a rose colored lense to the experiences you're having, what you're doing, where you are, a voyeuristic view into everyone's life I never found enticing or really wanted to begin with. I gave up using it years ago as it degraded into vitriolic comment threads arguing about anything and everything. Only mildly entertained by the occasional troll half the people couldn't even wrap their heads around. I never joined twitter, as I had nothing I wanted to say, only occasionally clicking on links that directed me to it. I had a burner Instagram so my wife could send me funny videos she found, even she doesn't really use social media for being too outward. It's more the shit messenger apps for some friends she has that use it and the like. I know Nostr is more than just social media. But it's really got a strange hook I can't shake. I'm legitimately not here for followers. I'm mainly here for a laugh and to dig into technical things I barely understand. There's always something changing. New stuff. Motivated individuals building things. Tools. Businesses. I've bled more sats here than I make. I'm not even in it for the zaps. I've bought things from random people selling their goods across country borders. Just to support them because they distinguished themselves by accepting what I consider better money. I've learned how to use and implement things I didn't think I was capable of doing before, rather than outsource it to someone who did. There's something special going on here. A strange, fragmented focus and determination by nostr users I don't see on other platforms. It's silly, vulgar, experimental, thoughtful and wholesome. And what contention does come seems to dissipate rather quickly. Open protocols and tools are something wild and weird. I still have nothing to say really. I submit this as evidence of such diatribes that belong left typed but not posted. But this is Nostr. So. Gfy.
