I didn't think I was ready to run my own Lightning node. I'm probably not, but after six months running one. I'm glad I am. I've learned a lot, and managed to wrap my head around the whole thing a lot better than before.
I'll deal with force closures, trying to restore channel states and the rest of the complications as they come.
I would pay an above average LN fee if there was a nice "send all" button in lightning wallets that left me with a zero balance rather than try and find the ratios for minimum payments in declining amounts with 11 sats stuck at the end because it can't cover a routing fee.
