Free Ian Freeman, Roger Ver, Ross Ulbricht, the Samourai devs, and the Tornado Cash devs. Creating a free marketplace website is not a crime, selling Bitcoin is not a crime, coding software to protect privacy is not a crime. Crimes should require a victim. Take a second and think about how retarded having "crimes" with no victims is.

The host of the "bitcoin and..." podcast, @DavidB84567 seems to think someone can just airdrop an NFT to your etheruem wallet and it will lock your entire wallet. That is not even possible. Some individual ERC-20 tokens CAN be frozen such as USDT and USDC. Others cannot such as ETH or many decentralized stablecoins. Your wallet address can be blacklisted by exchanges but that's true with Bitcoin wallets as well. What cannot happen is someone being able to freeze your entire wallet by sending you an NFT. I am not an ETH person although I do use it, but I just wanted to correct the misinformation.

Just a reminder, for God's sake people please turn your fucking location off. It's not worth the convenience of whatever apps are using it. Learn how to read a MAP, you don't always need GPS. You can always turn it back on temporarily if you get hopelessly lost or whatever. Especially if you're a bitcoiner do you really want these hackers knowing everywhere you go? Or anyone else?

No more income tax in New Hampshire. Next thing to do is start cutting down their high property taxes. It's a good place to move to if you are a freedom minded crypto degen. Plus they have Porcfest ๐

Police shot a 16 old in cold blood in the name of the war on drugs...again. He did have a gun, but the second Randall Adjessom realized the predawn intruders to his home were cops, he put his hands up. It wasn't enough for the cops and he was shot four times. They then left him to bleed out for four minutes before trying to administer any aid. It took 50 minutes for them to get him to a hospital that was 8 minutes away (He was still alive that entire time). Now the question you might be asking is why was the dead kid's home being raided? It was because his older brother, who didn't even live in the trailer, was suspected of .......selling cannabis.
Every single cop on that raid, and the judge who signed off on it, are all guilty. I don't give a FUCK if you weren't the cop that shot this kid, if you are willing to go kick in people's fucking doors in predawn no knock raids over some goddamn weed sales, then you are a special kind of evil. They aren't heroes, they aren't "just doing their job", they are thugs/tyrants/murderers/thieves. I'd love to see if these scumbags would grab their gun or not if they wake up to intruders in their house. I mean if they are incapable of detecting the immorality of invading someone's home violently over a plant, then they have some serious soul searching to do, if they even still have one.

Just a reminder that the first US Federal income tax was a temporary measure instituted during the Civil War in 1861 at a rate of 3% on incomes over $800. It was repealed a decade later. They tried to bring it back in 1894 but it was ruled unconstitutional the very next year.
Undeterred the Government ratified the 16th amendment in 1913 to allow for an income tax. The income tax that followed was also supposed to be temporary for war time funding like the civil war one, and was taxed at rates less than ten percent.
Never trust that a "temporary measure" from the Government will actually be temporary. So as hard as it is for people today to imagine a country without federal income taxes, it is not unprecedented.

I hear the left talking a lot about the class struggle and how the system is designed to benefit the rich. Yeah no shit it is, probably because every 4 years Americans continue to vote for rich people to rule over them. Every Democratic and Republican candidate for my entire life has been rich. Kamala Harris didn't even know how to hold a shovel. But if you have the guts to vote for a third party candidate who isn't obscenely rich, then you get yelled at by the same people bitchin' about rich people.
Keep voting for the rich folks and they will keep using the power you give them to benefit themselves while simultaneously pretending to be "for the people". The only time a rich major party politician is going to actually help the working class is if it benefits themselves somehow. They are just buying votes, they don't care about you.
The FBI has had no reason to exist ever since they ended the X Files ๐ They are so useless they have to create half the crimes and terror plots that they then "stop". When given information about actual criminals and scammers they just ignore it and go after people for selling BTC instead. They make up fake domestic terror threats to scare people into thinking they are a valuable organization. I can go on all day.
What in the fuck? Did some intern in the Biden administration just market sell all the silk road BTC at once as a fuck you to Trump? It liquidated my long BTC trade so hard while my 20 shitcoin trades didn't get liquidated. Funding is reset at least. That wick got bought up quick too. That'll teach me not to walk away from my computer for a few hours ever again.

I was using Grammarly for the first time to try it out and I noticed it always wants me to refer to the Government as "it" rather than "they". The importance of language cannot be understated, the Government is not an it, they are just regular people.
PEOPLE who think they have the right to control your life and body, to destroy your purchasing power, to spy on you, to extort you, and to kill or imprison you. They have also convinced most people that they are somehow special and that basic morality shouldn't apply to them.
Remember the importance of words and call the "Government" what it actually is, a group of immoral gangmembers who use violence and coercion to enslave you while simultaneously brainwashing you into believing in their false authority. They have no authority other than what they gain through their monopoly on violence. There is nothing special about what the Government does, they are simply criminals who offer their "protection" in exchange for a cut of your money, just like the mob.

I see a lot of otherwise smart and freedom minded people in the Bitcoin community talking about Texas and Florida as some kind of refuge from tyranny. This is absolutely ridiculous and here is yet another example of why. Sure, they may be good on some issues, but a big part of being free is being able to consume or grow a fucking plant if I want to. Texas and Florida, among other states, still think they should have the option to lock you in a cage for having unapproved plants. I don't need daddy Government telling me what I can and can't do with my own body as long as I am not harming anyone else. With cannabis you can't even argue that I am harming myself in any significant way when I consume it. There is zero logical arguments in favor of cannabis being illegal. Not a single motherfucking one.

Ken Paxton adds Dallas to list of cities he's sued over marijuana decriminalization - The Texas Tribune
Dallas is the sixth Texas city the attorney general has sued this year over marijuana decriminalization measures that he says conflicts with state ...
Probably thanks to the Institute of Justice's (a group of libertarian leaning badass lawyers) ongoing lawsuit, the US Deputy AG has suspended the DEA's organized crime operation at the nation's airports. When I say organized crime operation, I don't mean the DEA was investigating crime, they were doing the crime and stealing cash from travelers with no due process.
Something as stupid as if you bought your ticket within 48 hours of boarding would make you a target for warrantless searches and the seizing of your cash with no charges filed. Civil asset forfeiture is not only unconstitutional but incredibly immoral.
They really do run it like the mob would too...everyone gets their cut, from the confidential source airline employee who calls them when you buy a ticket too close to departure (has the DEA ever heard of a family emergency?), to the county/city, the state, and the feds at the top collect the most.

Proton's buying spree is bad for the privacy ecosystem. It makes everything more centralized and makes it harder for builders to gain traction with a new product in the space because you have to compete with what has become the Google of privacy. I'm referring to the acquisitions of Simplelogin and Standard Notes. As a subscriber to Standard Notes I was horrified to learn that I could no longer renew my subscription with XMR post acquisition. We need a wide variety of options, not one company that owns almost everything in the space which is the path we are on.
I really dislike seeing WWIII trending on X so often lately... humanity has nothing to gain by killing each other. It's never the regular folks who want to go to war, it's always the corrupt gangsters who call themselves "government" who make regular people go to war for them. Everyone knows this deep down but continue to support governments because who would protect us if not a government? Well ladies and gentlemen, they aren't protecting jack shit when they regularly put us at risk of nuclear war. Every single major system of government in the world today has either failed or is failing, so maybe it's time to consider something different.
Ian Freeman, the host of the libertarian/voluntaryist radio show "Free Talk Live", is serving an 8 year prison sentence for the victimless "crime" for selling Bitcoin to consenting adults without first getting a license that didn't even exist. He did a lot of good work getting people and businesses onboarded to BTC in the early days. Sign the petition to free him at

Why do these assholes always support war? The Ukraine war could of easily been a flash in the pan scenario, they probably would of had to cede some territory to Russia and then it would of been over. Instead the US gets itself involved like it always does and turns it into a proper drawn out war, because;
a) War is a money maker
b) War creates fear and the State needs you to be afraid at all times so that you think you wouldn't survive without them "protecting" you, otherwise citizens might think twice about ceding their freedoms and money to the state.
All this can be summed up in the famous quote, "War is the health of the State", from Randolph Bourne's 1918 essay entitled "The State". This quote rings just as true today as it did in 1918, if not more so. Why should you care? Eliminating this system of coercive government led by corrupt warmongers could literally be a life or death issue for you or your offspring if geopolitical tensions get bad enough that the draft is reinstated. Always remember that.

The "Biden" decision to allow long-range attacks into Russia carries zero upside, and huge, or even catastrophic, downside.
Even with all the crazy shit this year, it was when I realized Elon managed to get a whole new government agency and named it with the same acronym as our favorite OG memecoin, DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency), that I gave up & accepted that I live inside a simulation.๐ What in the fuck????
Don't ever forget who your adversary is. Just because there is now support for Bitcoin within the State doesn't mean the State is no longer the enemy of Bitcoin and freedom. Don't become complacent, never trust politicians. Don't KYC and don't tell anyone you have Bitcoin especially not the State. Who knows who will be in power after Trump? Don't let your guard down.
I bet most Democrats in crypto secretly voted for Trump and just told their friends and family that they were voting for Harris. People have a strong tendency to vote for their financial self interest.
Regardless of who wins the election we are still slaves. The choice between slave masters is just so that you feel like your not a slave. One of Frederick Douglass's masters would let him leave to work a job, and he even got to keep some earnings. He knew he was still a slave though, just one with more privileges which in some ways was worse to him because he was getting a taste of freedom but didn't actually have it.
Many people spend a large portion of their working hours working for the government because of income taxes. You don't get to decide how the money is spent just because you "voted". Politicians don't really care what you want. There are so many unelected "officials" that have power over your life.
Are you ok with the state using your hard earned money to kill people in pointless wars, imprisoning nonviolent people for victimless "crimes", or just wasting it on corruption and bloat? If that's what you want done with your money then maybe you aren't a slave, in that case you're just a sociopath.
