I read a lot on here about going #carnivore but surely I already am a carnivore? I’m missing something I guess or perhaps this is a topic more commonly talked about in America, where I don’t live. I’m intrigued to learn more about this. Some members of our family are vegan and everyone has their reasons and beliefs for which is better. I’m not convinced by veganism, oh no but want to eat more healthily and to skip the confusing, often misleading advice the professionals may or may not be dishing out. Everyone has their own individual needs when it comes to nutrition.

GM Last day of work for a couple of weeks! Going to be a busy one, as I hand over stuff to a colleague who has himself just come back from a two week holiday! Tomorrow - London Gatwick - Cancun Mexico - transfer to Playa del Carmen. Well over 11 hours of travel. Got devices full of films to watch and playlists downloaded.

Exploring Hurtwood in the Surrey Hills and part of the Greensand Way

I’ve been experimenting with my Osmo Action 5 Pro as a stills camera and it’s very good. Here is an example taken up on the Surrey Hills earlier today along part of the greensand way. The trees and leaves are looking magical right now.

Lidl are building more and more stores but this one is particularly handy, as it’s walkable, cyclable and very drivable from our house. You’ve got to document the places around you.

Should I expect to see posts on my npub.pro account straight away? Or is there a delay? I have defined my content and home page lists but nothing is showing up.

Our fig tree is growing extremely fast and has some decent fruit growing on it. Ready to pick I reckon!!

Whilst taking a trip on the Ffestiniog Railway in North Wales last month I spotted this beautiful typography on the carriage; it also reminded me of a classic Roland drum machine!!! Could be an idea for a little photography project.

Just tried an experiment for a long note. It dawned on me that I could use my DJI Mic 2 as a sort of dictaphone besides its main use with the camera. There are now a number of AI transcription services that can translate audio to text. So on my way to the barbers whilst driving, I “wrote” a post/note/article which I shall later drop into an online service called Riverside as a test; see how well it translates my spoken audio to text. Quite often sitting in front of a computer to write leads to a mental block and the above idea might lead to something. Will report back!
