I have had an idea for quite some time for a verifiable SHA256 addressable offer exchange that can map down to a hash map and exchange offline and relay out to the internet. I am playing with the iOS bitchat app to see if I can build a wrapper around it and map it up to nostr using the swift target modules.
#Nostr DEX ideas. π§ π‘
1. Blinded Signatures
2. Selective Disclosure
3. Reserve Price
4. Max and Min Offers
5. Quote Inbox
6. Masked Temporary Emails and Phone Numbers
7. Radius Broadcast
8. In Person Only
What NIPs?
NIP-15 - Nostr Marketplace
NIP-99 - Classified Listings
Letβs envision and build a future as if every router has a Nostr relay with BLE beacons and a NAS.
#AskNostr
I extended #Bitchat python to import a beacon for testing the BLE range. I have been walking around my house hunting packets! π
My end goal is to build an @Umbrel βοΈ app that tunnels to a nostr relay and up. This is just the beginning of an in person social mesh network and decentralized exchange for businesses. I havenβt even decided what NIP beyond NIP-01 and the concept for NIP-17 Gift Wrapped Messages that @jack is working on for the local first BLE handshake.
I have built a DEX example on NIP-99 at
The most ignorant concept that is happening in the market is that the BTC $ price for Bitcoin is following the traditional stock market.
It goes to show that the exchange has been compromised and there are no fundamentals in the price beyond flood Bid/Ask manipulation.
We need more verifiable semantics in the market in a decentralized way to keep the market based on multi pillar fundamentals.
Now more than ever, the need of verifiable DEXs for products and services on Nostr is becoming more and more necessary.

The Fourier series is a way to represent any periodic function as a sum of simple sine and cosine waves.
In essence, it breaks down complex signals into a combination of basic trigonometric functions, making it a powerful tool in mathematics, physics, and engineering for analyzing waveforms, heat transfer, vibrations, and more.
