Design the system, not just the facade.
If everything screams, nothing is heard.
Make the building work in silence, without explanation
Don’t fall in love with one idea—test it.
Clarify the concept before refining the form
I guess I can’t be a great architect. Great architects have a recognizable style. But if every building I did were the same, it would be pretty boring.
