I don't know what to think about the moon landing. If it did happen that long ago, it seems like we should be a lot further along technologically (assuming space exploration R&D money wasn't being embezzled). Some say the events in the Genesis story of 'the fall' are supposed to be viewed as symbolic and not literal.
