It was brought to my attention yesterday, some of us are under the apparently inaccurate assumption that running a Start9 or Umbrel out of our homes somehow helps future node runners with IBD. My most recent IBD took over two weeks. To me that's un-[expletive]-acceptable in 2025, not with all the big money that has now come into Bitcoin. How do we fix this if most of our hardware and residential ISPs can't handle it? Sneakernet? Donations to those with the proper hardware and connections?
