You ever start to suspect that for every minute of time the internet saves you in efficiency gains, it turns around and steals two minutes from you in the form of updates and troubleshooting? 🧐

Trying to make a personal archive of all 365 episodes (a full year) of the Lifespring! One Year Bible podcast. The problem is Podcast Index only links to the 50 newest episodes and Steve's website seems to be broken. Now I have to download missing episodes in Podcast Addict, drill into its mysteriously-named downloads folder [Android/data/com.bambuna.podcastaddict/files/podcast] (thanks for the help, Brave AI), share the mp3 into Telegram's 'Saved Messages' chat, save from there to my laptop's downloads folder, then fix the filename after Telegram modified it. The worst part is I already downloaded all of these episodes once before when I listened to them as new uploads. It's like the entire internet and every modern device that interacts with it has been redesigned to keep us dependent on somebody else's stupid cloud.

Why do these podcast apps (or Android OS - unsure who to blame) hide the actual mp3 downloads folder like it's the dirty movie section of the video rental store? If I wanted to be treated like a baby I would have bought an iPhone. Does Graphene fix this?

Kind of curious what it must be like to run a full node for one of those altcoins that has like a 2-minute block time. I swear this IBD gets slower the closer it gets to the chain tip. Thank God bitcoin goes a whole ten minutes between blocks or it might never get caught up!

Listening to a deputy on the scanner complain to dispatch that one of the local traffic lights is taking 5+ minutes to change has me wondering if traffic lights are run by the same software as Walmart's self checkout machines. We need somebody to reboot the traffic lights! 😂
