In 2017, the blocksize war and hardforks was a major concern to me. To my perspective, bitcoiners could not agree on what bitcoin was / is / should be. I believe that was mostly a psyop of epic proportions. IMO the op_return shit is a very similar psyop. The purpose being to scare people out of their bitcoin again. Imagine being a normie and seeing this shit, its a major destroyer for investor confidence, right as bitcoin is hitting the beginning of the adoption s curve. The risk adjusted return has never looked better, yet there is another giant psyop designed to distract and wear us down. I choose to not participate on either side, and that's fine. There are many people I like on both sides. The side their on doesn't make me like them any less. I enjoy being independent when there's 2 warring factions.
