In 2022 I read Jeff Booth’s article “Finding Signal In a Noisy World”. Understanding the blockchain trilemma and the tradeoffs these crypto projects have to make was pivotal for me. Bitcoin had first mover advantage and got to a stage where it could truly be secure and decentralized without being co-opted. Now through layer 2’s, it can scale. NOTHING else can do this. Once I realized this, I moved all my altcoin positions into bitcoin. Man, has that decision aged nicely. Thank you, @Jeff Booth
