"Money is YOUR TIME & ENERGY in an ABSTRACTED form".... This came directly from @jack mallers podcast yesterday at BlockTime 920007 - (and yes I know he has said this before) Just pull on that thread a little bit.... What I derive from that one little statement... I give my employer my time and my energy to perform my job...they give me a share in the excess "FIAT money" that they accumulate from their customers/clients/etc... they are incentivized to retain as much of their "earnings" as they can and abstract as much FIAT as they can... this means they cannot be open or decentralized - they have to participate in the system of thievery that is a second or third order effect of operating within the FIAT systems humans have put in place over time... I do not believe my boss or boss's are evil... I believe they are simply a product of their environment (like we all are). I also believe that the government is the same...they are not evil (most anyway)... they are simply a product of their environment(s) and have been programmed through the inputs they receive from those environments to act in alignment with the systems that have been into place over time (literally over mankind's entire history on the planet) in which we have been dealing with having to solve the problem of a communicating value amongst each other through "monies" that have been "soft" or easy manipulated....which leads to unaligned incentives.... You might want to give it a listen :)

I would be very interested in what you all think about what Sara is describing? You may want to listen to the entire pod or just 10 minutes leading up to this part to get a better sense of what they are talking about here-it just strikes me that those of you studying Bitcoin and markets and humanity have so much in common with those studying AI and systems and machine learning…. I mean if you don’t think it was worth your time just let me know where to send the Sats and I will happily compensate you for it…though I am inclined to believe you will benefit beyond any sats I could send by simply listening :) I hope anyone who listens finds the value and if not let me know how you feel….and we can chat :) At 30:35 thru 31:14 - Sara talks about having to “systematize what humans think of as good” and it strikes me that the Network being built upon the Bitcoin protocol layer…closely resembles or relates to that concept. It is a communications network that is simply in better alignment with the known laws of nature.
