I was never banned or suspended from bird app. I'm unlikely to be on any centralized platform because I mostly lurk and I don't like to draw attention to myself. But despite this, the single best thing about Nostr for me is the inability to deplatform users. Being uncensorable is like owning a gun, or having extra food stored, or having confiscation resistant money. When you don't need it, you don't mind or even notice the lack. I'd love to see a feature where you can filter followers by whether you follow back, or by mutual connections. Basically to make it easier to identify people you want to follow that slipped by.
