We stack sats because Bitcoin is not only the hardest money in the history of our species, but also the greatest opportunity we've ever had to emancipate the human spirit; if you're not on board, what are you doing?

When communism fails, the ideologues scream "it's not real communism" and we laugh at them.
This makes me feel a bit uncomfortable when I point out that the western world is collapsing because it isn't real capitalism.

There's actually only ONE bitcoin, not 21 million.
It's a singleton that is conveniently divisible into about 21 million units.
We can go even further than that of course, and divide it into 21 gorillion sats. It can even be divided down further than sats, which people already do on lightning.
The decimal point doesn't mean anything anyway, it doesn't actually even exist, it's just there in the UI to make things easier for humans to read. It's arbitrarily placed in the centre of the max number of digits (00000000.00000000).
We could place the decimal at the very start of the number instead, making the maximum number of Bitcoin 0.21... It would be functionally the same.
A civilization based on money that can be printed at no cost is a civilization that ultimately becomes worthless.
The search for truth is an ancient, and difficult pursuit. Modern society still swims in a sea of lies, in politics and business.
The left side of the spectrum is better equipped to deal with this, with their childlike intuition.
If you want to understand a concept like "trust", observe young children.
Children start by trusting no-one except their parents and siblings.
From about one year old, they begin to interact with people other than their parents.
They extend trust to other adults, when their parents tell them it is OK.
But they trust other children implicitly, unless there is too much age difference.
I have an intuition that our trust structures in nostr are merely reflecting the reality of what even the youngest infants already feel in their bones, whereas the structures created by projects like farcarster, bluesky, mastedon, etc, have somehow lost this most basic aspect of being human.
Four simple steps to a well lived life:
1. Become great
2. Be great
3. Remain great
4. Don't appoint Commodus as emperor
60 million moose shekels for this?
Old school Nazis were much more efficient than this new breed.

Instead of creating a new invoice for every pubkey in a zap split, what about using a cashu mint with pay to pubkey: tokens minted and locked to each pubkey in the split.
