Wow. Nice soaking rain most of the night. Great start for the year. Big deal considering had no rain in 2024. Not sure if it will be enough to really green up the place but it sure helps the soil biome and all the starts I have going. Going to harvest a few more loofah today so they don't mold. Got a new ride yesterday. About to get a ride in and get in better shape. Orange pilled the seller and he'll have more for sale or rent in the future. These are incredibly fun with the fat tires around here. Just have to slime the tires for cactus spines and game on🤙

Buenos dias nostriches.. I harvested all the flowers off this hibiscus and it's now growing more. Acting as a perennial and not an annual. We'll see if it produces as much. Also learned hibiscus stems make for a great natural straws. Have some drying out and it does appear them become hollow with drying. We make Jamaica drink from these flowers all over Latin America and is very good for pancreatic health and consider anti-cancer if not sweetened with sugar.. #permaculture #homesteading #gardening #offgrid #bitcoin #beekeeping

My neighbor's 78 year old lawn mower. His father built it 1 year before he was born. He added a new transmission when he brought it down to Baja over 20 years ago. Still mows several acres every year 🤙 My neighbor also built his own backhoe and accessories, many years ago. I need to get some photos to share. Light at the end of the tunnel? Actually it's a well and we want water, not light. We do have moisture, but not enough. Hole is currently 105'. We'll go to 120' and then go to exploration hand drill for 30' more if needed. These smaller casing (rings) are going down to reinforce about the last 15' they dug.
