The bridge between the right and the left is realizing that governments and politicians around the world have grown too large and too corrupt
Power should rest with the people — sovereign individuals, families, and communities living in more localized democracies and able to live free

Speaking of progressive bullshit
My senator is a liar and an idiot

Economically, progressives lost me long ago.
Across the western world they say we’re the party of the working people. To empower those people? No, to get their votes and control what these people get and receive via entitlements. Not focus on economic realities that would actually help them be more financial free, own more capital, etc.
I’m for more freedom, not more government control and permission.
It’s a great day to be your own bank

It’s been almost 6 months since I joined @My First Bitcoin leadership team as Director of Finance and Admin
After years in the space, and quite burnt out from the U.S. centric social/political conversations around Bitcoin that people tried to pigeonhole me into, I knew the only way I could continue contributing was on a global, human rights focus — focusing on those who need Bitcoin the most in their communities.
Thank you MFB for giving me the love of Bitcoin again and everything that comes with that — freedom, sovereignty, community, and hope 🧡
My @Foundation passport prime got delivered faster than Amazon prime 🔥

I don’t like the present choices between state sponsored capitalism or state sponsored communism
Both lead to far less freedom for individuals, and far greater civil unrest.
And they exacerbate wealth inequality on one end and poverty on another
Come to think of it, the state continues to be the present problem and danger.
Least we can do is separate money from the state!
You don’t hate the fiat, bank cartel, govt system enough

We’re not a serious country

Bitcoin is sovereignty for your family in a world of chaos
It’s the easiest fucking move you can make
At @My First Bitcoin we’re building the world we wish to see with free, independent, impartial education
But did you know we’re also operating on a Bitcoin standard - and our financial stack and operations run on self-custody and self-sovereignty.
We practice what we preach!
As Director of Finance and Admin it’s been the most interesting challenge in my 10+ years in the nonprofit space. Custom dashboards. AI native org infrastructure. Sovereignty and self custody while running 501c3 governance and compliance.
It ain’t easy, but it’s right and we’re looking to open source and lead this model!
My bull market splurges this year are going to be
A) Noah Kahan tickets (obvi)
B) a new turntable/kickass vinyl setup
Any recs on B? I have a fluance currently — it’s good, but looking to level up
I can’t describe to you the insane sense of joy and pride we new englanders feel that Noah Kahan is killing it right now and put out the most beautiful album I’ve heard in years. He literally created a new genre I’m calling New England country.
He’s putting New England on the map in a new way outside of bullshit notions that it’s all just Boston accents, mean people, and Dunkin’.
New England forever baby
It’s an interesting paradigm shift I see happening these past few years.
Far left violence is individual and group think (or appeals to violence, tolerance of violence, etc), not necessarily govt/communist driver (maybe it’s bc Trump is in power, etc).
Where as right wing MAGA has been comfortable with state inflicted violence (U.S. military, ICE, etc).
Political violence is stupid, and weak. Says a lot about *you* as an individual that your soul hasn’t found peace if you do it or tolerate it. I feel this way for someone like Hasan Piker (who is economically illiterate, an asshole, and longs for leftists revolutionary violence).
Anyway, happy Sunday.
LOL wonder if it’ll happen while he’s on stage at the bitcoin conference 🤣

My phone storage was being weird and I checked and damus was using 13GB LMAO
It’s like hey when fees are low consolidate your UTXOs. When storage is tight, check damus 🤣
President Trump couldn’t make it to the Bitcoin conference this year because he’s attending his own shitcoin conference while also a bullshit war in the Middle East he started is going on.
Trump pardoned Ross because he was told he’d get votes out of it.
Happy Ross got out, that’s politics.
But what’s the incentive for Trump now?
