Economically, progressives lost me long ago. Across the western world they say we’re the party of the working people. To empower those people? No, to get their votes and control what these people get and receive via entitlements. Not focus on economic realities that would actually help them be more financial free, own more capital, etc. I’m for more freedom, not more government control and permission.

I can’t describe to you the insane sense of joy and pride we new englanders feel that Noah Kahan is killing it right now and put out the most beautiful album I’ve heard in years. It’s an interesting paradigm shift I see happening these past few years. Far left violence is individual and group think (or appeals to violence, tolerance of violence, etc), not necessarily govt/communist driver (maybe it’s bc Trump is in power, etc). Where as right wing MAGA has been comfortable with state inflicted violence (U.S. military, ICE, etc). Political violence is stupid, and weak. Says a lot about *you* as an individual that your soul hasn’t found peace if you do it or tolerate it. I feel this way for someone like Hasan Piker (who is economically illiterate, an asshole, and longs for leftists revolutionary violence). Anyway, happy Sunday.
