I think it’s funny whenever American politicians say things about our rights.
“Protest, but do so peacefully and lawfully!”
Bitch — you do not grant us our inalienable rights. We have them, god given, in opposition to your bullshit.
Not saying violence is the answer. Just saying I think it’s cute when government officials tell you about your rights as if they’re given by them. Nope.
Do I trust Donald Trump to be given the reins of the federal reserve? absolutely not.
But it has been interesting to see fed officials and central bankers around the world absolutely terrified that their power is slipping.
Unfortunately people are still missing the forest from the trees and the mechanisms that run our global monetary system of power and control
I asked ChatGPT when it thinks Bitcoin will finally catch on. What year, to be precise.
It told me 2032, and here are the reasons why (I largely agree with!)
My toddler does this fun thing now where everyday like clockwork she absolutely loses her shit from 4:00-5:00pm. Then she’s good.
I think we all should be given 1 hr each day where we just lose our shit, then we’re good! (Don’t harm other people of course. Just act like a lunatic and blow off steam for a little bit).
Society asks incomplete questions that bitcoiners often reject the premise to.
The questions “is the Fed independent” “can Trump fire the Fed chair” “who should control monetary policy” are the wrong questions to ask, or not getting to the core of the issue.
The reality is, monetary policy as it stands today is political power. It’s not about who controls the levers, it’s about the levers and the machine itself.
It’s about asking the questions that immediately gets you canceled or labeled a right wing nut in polite society.
Should the Fed even exist? The concentration of power in monetary policy creates an abusive relationship between said powers (whether it is the Fed as “independent” or the Fed as puppet for executive).
We should be relying on a transparent, open, rules-based system that’s predictable in nature. That is a much better and fairer system for money.
Can’t believe I’ve already been with @My First Bitcoin for over a month
The privilege of a lifetime to work in freedom tech and our work in empowering people around the world who need it most with bitcoin education and resources.
Freedom go up
Our world is filled with nuance. I refuse to be a part of or perpetuate purely partisan ideology, or engage with partisan hacks (who always have tribal and or/monetary incentives). They don’t, and can’t, seek truth.
There are massive, enormous problems to fix, a better world to envision, and there is no time for those kinds of unproductive people and conversations.
People in the real world give me hope. Those taking action. I deeply believe in the principles of Ubuntu — I am because we are; my humanity is inextricably linked to yours. Let’s do this 🫂
Becoming a father
The greatest accomplishment and most meaningful thing I could have ever done with my time on this earth.
Nothing can get to or stop me. Nothing. The rest is bullshit compared to it!
