There are people and governments in this world that will accuse bitcoiners of trying to overthrow the dollar, overthrow the govt, treason, etc, just because we advocate for bitcoin and money separate from the state, and because their system is in slow decline all on its own. Just…be aware of this.

We call Bitcoin a peaceful revolution because it’s opting out of the current system U.S. govt - “here, use our money” Bitcoiners: “no thank you, I’m all set and have my own money” Bitcoiners will not be the violent ones. The fiat state is the one who perpetuates violence.

I’ve been radicalized - to think that having kids and prioritizing raising and providing for my family is the most important thing in life - to think that money separate from the state is the way at it always should have been - to think that privacy is not a crime, and “none of your business” should be the default - to think critically, and call most of politics what it is - bullshit and not to be trusted - to pursue living as self-sovereignly as possible, and build communities that emphasize this So yeah, I’ve been “radicalized”

The question isn’t do these freedom tech tools work (nostr, bitcoin, etc) The question is how do we get people to care without them hitting rock bottom first?

My current plan and what excites me most is keep building a family, stack sats, stay humble, and begin my novel

I get this profound feeling that both OG’s selling and Wall Street buying don’t understand how important Bitcoin is. They both for different reasons have very limited views of Bitcoin. It will take over the world, playing a huge part in humanity’s story for generations to come. Few understand this and are pricing/stacking for the long haul accordingly. Everything goes to 0 against Bitcoin image

I think every bitcoiner should write a fiction novel We’ve all got deep human stories within us that brought us to bitcoin in the first place!

My wife is out having a treat yo self afternoon getting her haircut, shopping, etc. she deserves it, she’s amazing. So I decide to take my daughter and our pup out for a walk around town (which u do often anyway). While out, multiple times people have commented with things like “wow double duty!”, “go dad!”, “wow pup and baby huh?”. And it struck me. Guarantee my wife doesn’t get any comments like this. People assume this is more the women’s role, it’s “amazing” that I’m doing this, or they have super low expectations of dads. Probably all three. What’s funny is this isn’t “duty” for me. This is *the thing* for me. I am out in the sunshine, by the ocean, in a community I love, with my pup and baby. It’s a joy and privilege to have this free time. Any job I have or bitcoin I try to stack is for more time with my family, period. Good dads should be overjoyed to spend time with their fam and do things like this. It’s nothing special or “hard” lol. Being a great dad is the ability to set your life up in a way that gives you time to be all in with your fam and set them up for success and joy. Period. We stack sats for them.

Can I add — self-sovereignty continues to be easier and easier now that we have Bitcoin, nostr and other freedom tech. Let’s onboard the world View quoted note →

Hearing people say bitcoin is already compromised and giving up, or selling and being done, is like listening to Greta Thunberg and being convinced the world is going to be underwater in 5 years anyway so it doesn’t matter Keep fighting! We still have a massive chance at this thing as freedom money. It’s up to us. I’m not settling on the doomer bullshit.

Many of my progressive friends are starting to accept that the government isn’t coming to save them. Focus on yourself, improve what you can. Become as self-sovereign as you can to take care of yourself and family, and be an excellent and charitable member of your community to love your neighbor as yourself. Socialism will never, ever guarantee your freedom or wellbeing.
