Hey @npub1gh73...4ruj, just heard about you today. Looks like high quality stuff. Do you get some or all your fabric domestically?

Moved about 25 buckets of mulch off of the driveway and over to the path to the new composter location. Composters are moving to make room for the shed. Relatedly, it's hot out!

For those who follow me and have been following along with my shed building project, I now have framed out 4 walls and the roof. I also cut and stained the 4x4" posts that will anchor the shed to the ground. Next up is to clear the vegetation from the area where the shed will sit, mulching things that need mulched. Then it'll be time for a barnraising! Breaking ground, setting posts, building the floor, attaching the walls & roof on day 1. Then getting the ply onto the roof & walls, completing the roof and getting the outside painted on day 2. The door, shelves and other things can wait until the following weekend.

Do I buy the $720 Bosch 12" sliding miter saw, or get the $380 knock off the Harbor Freight? I'm leaning towards the former. The miter saw is one of those foundational tools of any shop and we've already gone through 2 of the bottom of the barrel models (10" blade, cheapest possible option).

Someone asked for referral to someone to provide investment advice in a large group chat and I managed to keep my mouth shut. If they came to me personally, I'd have a 1 on 1 with them, but I read the room. I almost feel like an adult now.

Can a #lightnimg #noderunner comfirm/refute my understanding here? 1. If I close all my channels, the funds will go back into my on-chain wallet and move them whereever from there. 2. If I lose my production server and all my backups except my seed words, there's some way for me to find the channels and [force] close them. 3. In both cases I can recover all the money (less transaction fees). Do I understand this correctly?

My lightning node is messed up, likely due to some chamges I made last night. If anyone wants to try to zap me and let me know the error message they get, it'd be appreciated. There's nothing obvious in the logs and I don't have time to deal with this right now, but having some pointers for when I get back to this would be helpful

I'd rather ride in the shade. These are from my town and the neighboring town, which is only different in terms of lines on a map (and governence, obviously).
