moderating forums with money

Money with a history is money held hostage. On a transparent chain, there is no "sound money"; there are only captive balances awaiting execution, which the authority has not yet bothered to brand as "tainted." No medium of value exchange susceptible to discrimination can remain "sound." The soundness of money depends on every single fraction of it being able to stand against central authorities with the same anonymous audacity, as perfect equivalents of one another. Without fungibility, the concept of "sound money" is an oxymoron. Absolute mathematical scarcity is not what makes money sound. After all, a limited-quantity asset whose units cannot be considered equivalent or interchangeable due to constant surveillance and mapping is not true property; rather, it is a privilege and a permit you carry by the grace of authorities, liable to be revoked and manipulated at any given moment. That's why we #Monero!

View quoted note →The plastic cards in our pockets and those seamless electronic payment interfaces on our phone screens have become the most insidious shackles of modern man. The vision of a "cashless society" ruthlessly imposed by central banks and globalist institutions is not a convenience or technological innovation as it is packaged and sold to the masses, but a project to construct a perfect digital panopticon. The events we have witnessed in recent years; the freezing of bank accounts of those who oppose the system with a single keystroke, the shutting down of crowdfunding platforms under state pressure, and the attempt to introduce Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) into our lives under the guise of "programmable money," prove how brutal this domination has become. While entities like the World Economic Forum dream of linking humanity's spending habits to carbon quotas or social credit scores, states revel in the intoxication of being able to instantly profile every coffee purchase we make and every non-governmental organization we support. This has long ceased to be a simple financial matter; the walls of a massive open-air prison, where every second we breathe, every idea we believe in, and every choice we make are judged, approved, or "cancelled" by algorithms, are closing in on us. We no longer see how easily those who control money can disregard human will in dystopian novels, but rather in our own bank statements.
Right in the midst of this dark trajectory, Bitcoin emerged onto the scene as the first great spark to defy the system; however, over time we have bitterly learned that it was merely an attempt, a prototype. The transparent blockchain structure, initially seen as the impregnable fortress of financial freedom, has ironically evolved into the greatest surveillance tool of states, intelligence agencies, and chain analysis firms today. Globalist elites have turned Bitcoin's transparency to their advantage, taming this rebellion with KYC and AML (Know Your Customer and Anti-Money Laundering) laws and turning it into one of Wall Street's ETF playthings. An ecosystem where wallet addresses are matched with real-world identities, blacklists are created for so-called "dirty" money, and miners begin to censor transactions out of fear of the state, cannot overthrow state domination; on the contrary, it becomes a digital and global extension of that domination. No system where privacy is "optional" rather than the "default" can protect you from tyranny. This is why Bitcoin was a monumental first step that successfully fulfilled its mission of making the masses question the nature of money and the dream of cutting out the state; but the absolute revolution had to be much more radical and dark enough that the state could never penetrate it.
Monero is precisely that true revolution which inherits the incomplete legacy left by Bitcoin; it is the sole guarantor of drawing an absolute, distinct, and irreversible line between money and the state. Equipped with advanced cryptographic shields that mask ring signatures, stealth addresses, and transaction amounts, this architecture does not offer "untraceability" to its user as a favor; rather, it hardcodes financial privacy as an inalienable "fundamental human right" into its codebase. When states and global control mechanisms cannot see the sender, receiver, or transaction amount on the network, they instantaneously lose their power to use money as an instrument of blackmail, profiling, or social engineering. This is exactly what we call the true revolution: the taking back of power from the bloody hands of the elites through a decentralized, opaque, uncensorable code, and returning it forever to the pocket of the ordinary individual. Monero mathematically reduces to zero the state's audacity to know what you believe in, whom you support, or where you store the fruits of your labor. In this increasingly authoritarian world where our every step is logged into data banks, using Monero does not merely mean hiding your balance; it means rescuing your political stance, your lifestyle, and your human dignity from the lens of those global intelligence networks.
At the ultimate point reached today, the most virtuous and noble response that can be given against this digital feudalism that authority tries to force upon us like a straitjacket is not playing by their rules or meekly submitting; it is to become literally "ungovernable." When they impose spending limits on you, attempt to set an expiration date for your money, or threaten to "push you out of the system" simply because you stepped outside the official narrative, #Monero is the power to say "How about NO!" to the face of authority, with that unshakable will behind that famous V mask and that rebellious finger raised in the air. While decision-makers shift the burden of the crises, wars, and corruption they themselves created onto the backs of the public through inflation, exorbitant taxes, and financial repression, we are no longer obliged to remain in their rigged playground. We have long since built that free and parallel economy where we write our own rules, where the passwords to our wallets are locked only in our own minds, and where the state's cameras cannot reach. To be "ungovernable" is not to blindly create chaos; it is the total rejection of the authority over your existence by an unjust, immoral, and overstepping system of domination. Mankind's reclamation of absolute sovereignty over his own labor is the greatest and most flawless insurrection history has ever seen; and the banner of this insurrection is that very orange symbol which no state can see, no bank can touch, and no globalist power can stop.

The Zcash privacy illusion is officially, irreversibly DEAD.
If you are still holding ZEC thinking you’re shielded, you are playing yourself. The recent Ledger hack ($93M+ drain) just put the final, humiliating nail in Zcash's coffin.
A hacker tried to wash the stolen funds. They ran them through Tornado Cash, then shoved them straight into Zcash’s highly-marketed “shielded pool” to “disappear” them. What happened? On-chain analytics followed them in real time. 108 out of 108 exits were fully demixed and matched. Down to the exact zatoshi. Every single lot was identified, tracked back out the far side, traced to cross-chain swaps, and pinpointed to exchange-bound wallets. Not one other exit from the pool matched the patterns. The “privacy” of Zcash’s shielded pool offered exactly 0% protection. Zero.
Why? Because Zcash is a fundamentally broken, opt-in privacy sandbox. When 95%+ of your network is transparent and your shielded pool is a tiny, ghost-town backyard, fingerprinting becomes trivial. Timestamps, lot sizes, and behavior pattern matching will de-anonymize you instantly.
“Opt-in” privacy is just a security theater, not privacy. It is a honey pot for chain-analysis firms like Chainalysis and Bitquery to test their tracking toys. But let’s be honest: We shouldn’t be surprised. Zcash is working exactly as intended. As Zcash founder Zooko back-pedaled and openly admitted in 2017: “I think we can successfully make Zcash too traceable for criminals... but still completely private & fungible.”
Spoiler: You cannot make something “too traceable” for some without making it fully traceable for everyone. They built backdoors into their philosophy, and today we see the fruits of that compliance-first cowardice. It’s a surveillance coin masquerading as a privacy coin.
#Monero never asks for permission, never complies, never offers “optional” shielding so you can appease regulators. In Monero, privacy is the only option. No opt-in or transparent “T-addresses” or fallback. Every transaction, every sender, every recipient, and every amount is obscured by default, for everyone, forever. No analytics firm can fingerprint your exit, because there is no “transparent” exit to map back to. There is no pool, because the entire blockchain is the pool. It is genuinely fungible.
Zcash is a corporate, VC-backed, compliant tracking ledger with a “private” sticker slapped on the box. If you want real, uncompromising, battle-tested financial sovereignty, there is only one option.
FUCK ZEC. LONG LIVE XMR.

The Triple Truth of money in your bank account:
1. It's not YOUR money.
2. It's NOT money.
3. It's NOT THERE.
And this truth is also valid in the context of Fort Knox, etc.
#GM means get Monero. #Monero means money.

How it feels being a #Monero bro warning other communities about fungibility during a bull run:
What is fungibility? And why BTC, ETH, XRP, USDT, USDC, BNB, ADA, SOL and ZEC holders should care?
Look at these two "crypto wallets" below.
One shows the amount, the sender, the receiver, and a public history. The other reveals almost nothing. It is the difference between digital cash and digital financial surveillance tool.
On a transparent blockchain, every coin carries a record of where it has been. If those coins passed through an exchange, a mixer, a hack, a sanctioned address, or a flagged wallet, that story does not stay in the past. It arrives with the payment. When you accept the coin from a transparent blockchain, you also accept its entire financial history. That is what people mean by the word "fungibility", even if the word sounds academic.
• Fungible money is interchangeable.
• One unit is as good as another.
• E.g. 1 ounce of Gold always equals 1 ounce of Gold.
A shopkeeper does not ask whether your $10 note was used in a crime last year. It is just ten dollars.
If some coins are treated as clean and others as tainted, they are no longer the same money. They have different values, different risks, and different risks of being frozen or refused. Transparent blockchains make that possible because the open ledger never forgets and remembers every single transaction made.
Blacklists, "tainted history," and frozen funds are not bugs in that model, they are the main features. An innocent law abiding receiver can still inherit a problem they did not create as a result. Monero is designed so the coin has no memory of the sender.
• The amount is hidden.
• The path is hidden.
• 1 XMR is always equal to 1 XMR.
That is much closer to how real cash works: You receive money, not a dossier. This matters most for people who are NOT doing anything wrong!
"If you accept a coin from a transparent blockchain, you also accept their entire life history. Monero has no memory of the sender. That's how money should work. It's the squeaky clean people who need privacy most." - Dr. Daniel Kim
Ironically, Adam Back makes the fungibility problem obvious in this clip. After last month's ~4000 BTC inflation bug on Liquid Network (September 6, 2026), he talks about using the full force of the law against the hacker’s wallet address which only works if those coins can be identified, followed, and treated as different from every other bitcoin.
If the fungibility problem still is not clear, Andreas Antonopoulos explains it more plainly here:
Another great video presentation comparing Bitcoin's open public ledger vs Monero's fungibility to really get this point across about the dangers of transparent blockchains:
"We already see evidence of basically 'Virgin Bitcoins' (newly mined BTC with no previous financial records) being sold for higher prices than used Bitcoins… The buyer doesn't know what the history of the Bitcoin is. It's a fatal flaw." - Dr. Daniel Kim

Daniel KimI’m so sick and tired of these fucking stupid bitches!
#Monero is the only goddamn currency that hasn’t been and refuses to get whacked!

As a Türk from Türkiye, I support the Remigration Movement of White Europe and condemn that Judeo-Bolshevik cesspool known as the European Union and those so-called European globohomo governments. Of course, remigration isn’t enough! For every White life that has been taken or violated, one million members of that small, rootless, disgraceful, and dishonorable international clique and the sub-species it controls should be deported or lined up against a wall.

If you look back at the crypto landscape of 2020, the bullish arguments for #Monero (XMR) were based on what the technology could become. Today, in 2026, the argument is based on what Monero has survived and what it has proven. Bitcoin has been captured by Wall Street ETFs, Ethereum has bowed to OFAC compliance, and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) are transitioning from whitepapers to draconian realities. The financial panopticon is complete. In this environment, Monero is no longer just a cryptocurrency. It is the last remaining lifeboat for financial sovereignty. Here is why, now more than ever, I am fundamentally and aggressively bullish on Monero:
1. In June 2020, Atomic Swaps were a promise. Today, they are fully operational infrastructure. Tools like Unstoppable Swap (eigenwallet now, I think) and integration into cross-chain protocols (like Maya Protocol and BasicSwapDEX) have eliminated the need for centralized intermediaries. You can seamlessly swap BTC or ETH for XMR entirely peer-to-peer. This effectively allows anyone in the surveilled crypto ecosystem to instantly step out of the matrix, clean their financial history, and reclaim their privacy.
2. We used to dream of a decentralized fiat gateway. Today, Haveno (built on the Bisq architecture) is a thriving, non-KYC decentralized exchange network. Along with platforms like LocalMonero's successors, this robust P2P on/off ramp means that even as governments pressure traditional banks, users can easily move fiat into Monero in total secrecy. Monero has successfully decoupled from the traditional banking chokepoints.
3. Monero is anti-fragile and is surviving all the CEX purges. When major CEXs like Binance and Kraken delisted Monero between 2024 and 2025 due to regulatory pressure, and critics called it "a death blow." But instead, it was Monero's finest hour. The delistings flushed out pure speculators and proved that Monero does not need corporate permission to exist. The network's hash rate, transaction volume, and decentralized liquidity grew. Monero is the only major asset that has proven it is truly immune to institutional blacklisting.
4. Fungibility is now a crisis for transparent chains. As Bitcoin became institutionalized, the blockchain analytics industry (Chainalysis, CipherTrace, Arkham Intelligence, etc.) metastasized. Today, transparent coins suffer from a "taint" crisis. A freshly mined "virgin" Bitcoin commands a premium, while a Bitcoin with a history of coinjoins or black/grey-market usage can be frozen by exchanges. Monero is the only top-tier digital asset that is truly fungible. 1 XMR = 1 XMR, always. Without fungibility, a cryptocurrency cannot function as true money.
5. The dark web and the privacy-centric parallel economy completely abandoned Bitcoin years ago. Monero is now the undisputed, de facto currency of global private commerce. While mainstream observers dismiss this as "criminal activity," history proves that black and grey markets are always the earliest adopters of superior technology. The infrastructure built to support this parallel economy makes Monero indestructible.
6. Unlike the Bitcoin network, which is dominated by massive, corporate ASIC mining farms in specific geopolitical jurisdictions, Monero has maintained true decentralization. The RandomX algorithm has successfully kept ASICs off the network for years. Combined with the brilliant P2Pool architecture, hundreds of thousands of normal people are mining Monero using consumer-grade CPUs at home. The network cannot be shut down by raiding a warehouse full of ASICs.
7. Monero's development hasn't stagnated; it has accelerated. The implementation of Bulletproofs+ reduced transaction sizes and fees, while ongoing upgrades toward Full-Chain Membership Proofs (FCMP++) and Seraphis continue to expand the anonymity set to unprecedented levels. Monero boasts one of the largest, most talented, and highly principled FOSS developer communities outside of Bitcoin and Ethereum.
8. Bitcoin deliberately crippled its Layer-1 utility for high fees, pushing users to centralized or complex and crippled Layer-2s. Monero's dynamic block size and tail emission have worked flawlessly. As transaction counts reach all-time highs, the network scales gracefully, and transaction fees remain practically invisible (often fractions of a cent). It is a superior medium of exchange for everyday payments.
9. Monero is the ultimate antidote to financial deplatforming. Cancel culture has evolved into financial deplatforming. From political dissidents and independent journalists to controversial public figures, governments and corporations routinely freeze bank accounts and surveil transparent crypto donations. Monero is the only safe harbor for ideological funding and freedom of speech. Donating in XMR protects both the recipient and the sender from state and corporate retaliation.
10. The "Great Reset" is no longer a fringe theory; it is global monetary policy. As governments roll out programmable CBDCs, they gain the power to dictate what you can buy, when you can buy it, and auto-deduct taxes or penalties directly from your wallet. Monero is the absolute antithesis of this system. It is digital cash outside the reach of the New World Order. Holding XMR is a direct hedge against monetary tyranny.
11. Monero is a rarity in the crypto space: It had no pre-mine, no VC seed rounds, no CEO, and no corporate foundation pulling the strings. It is supported by an organic, fiercely intelligent grassroots community of original cypherpunks. You cannot manipulate a community that is in it for the ideological survival of human freedom rather than a quick fiat payout.
If you genuinely enjoy the idea of your competitors, the IRS, and some nameless data broker in Silicon Valley getting a push notification every time you buy an iced latte or donate to a controversial podcast, by all means, leave your financial curtains wide open. Bitcoin was a cute proof-of-concept. It really was. But let's stop pretending it's rebel money. It has morphed into the most pristine, transparent surveillance tool ever invented. Congratulations to us all: We created decentralized money, and designed it so that any bored teenager with a block explorer can calculate your exact net worth. Monero is simply what Bitcoin promised to be before Wall Street and compliance officers neutered it. You don't need a grand philosophical reason to use it. You just need the same basic human instinct that tells you to close the blinds when you change your clothes. Buying Monero has never been -and can never be- a self-righteous crusade; quite the contrary, acquiring Monero is simply a matter of choosing the only cryptocurrency that minds its own business.
