I started using TikTok a month or so ago to do Bitcoin evangelism on those clips where people complain about inflation and monetary debasement. Most of the time these folks know shit is wrong but don’t know what — just that they’re experiencing financial pain. For the first month, I’d just get responses saying it was a scam. Now, I’ve started to have posts reported (I think) and removed for allegedly “violating community guidelines.” There is no rhyme or reason to it as there is some Bitcoin and lots of shitcoin content on there.

In today's "that's cool as shit" technology news: Interestingly, Burns’ lab has developed an ophthalmoscope capable of observing the back of the human eye at a very high resolution (2 microns). This allows them to see the movement of red blood cells in real time. By using this technology, Burns has identified biomarkers for diabetes and hypertension in the blood vessels of the eye. “There’s growing evidence of a strong retinal vascular component to Alzheimer’s disease,” Burns said. “You can currently see the signs with PET scans, which require large, multimillion-dollar instruments. If we can see the same signs with an eye scan, it’s a lot less invasive and a lot less costly.”
