Nostr Huntrs & Anglers is a place to share the stories, photos, and everyday lifestyle of hunters and anglers who cherish public lands. We celebrate the traditions of the outdoors—passed down through families—and connect a community rooted in freedom, stewardship, and wild places.
A friend took this earlier in the year on a scouting trip. He needs to get on Nostr to get zapped for his photography skills. image
This Hornady Ballistics app is solid for dialing in most hunting rifles. I run mostly hornady precision hunter ammo for hunts which is plug and play with your rifle builds. Just finished a 308 build for Wyoming mule deer next week. You can update distance, winds, angle, etc. I run meters so you can program MOA or MRAD as well. You can also build range cards. #huntstr
A family friend just took this buck in the Adirondacks. I can smell the Busch Lights in this pic. #huntstr image
GM. Almost running Bitcoin. What are the best apps that people are running on Umbrel and why? This may not be the best system but it’s where I’m starting because I have zero computers skills other than OnX maps and e-scouting. #asknostr image
Spotted in one of the parks in Idaho today. I’ll hunt for weeks and not find a buck like this… image
A friend knocked down a spike in Wyoming today. Can’t beat the scenery. #huntstr image
@hal, Would you run Core or Knots? Use only one of those words and it has to be either Core or Knots. Don’t elaborate further. Trust me, no one will attack you on your response.
GM. Testing some new lighted nocks for muley season(much heavier than non lighted). 100 yards at 302 feet per second and you can see how much this still drops aka casts. #bowstr
