Mainly travelling to/from Austria, Italy and France. Secondarily, Germany, the Czech Republic and Switzerland. I am based in Austria, and my focus will be on long-distance travel, but I will offer all kinds of tips for local and regional trains, from ways to reduce prices to the most beautiful routes. 48xTc8MbEuCVkRbwGGo1PxP3XsJtvwAgFhtJ7ML6dobV9TTYeSxBnHNFNdqkLLR18kK5K1L5qxVgjRZHkGkVYrvaHDPozew

This morning, in Udine, I hopped on a Regionale Veloce (RV3858) that was coming from Trieste Centrale, bound for Venetia Santa Lucia, but I went only to Venice Mestre (the continental train station) because I didn't want to risk a later connection.
From the Vienna to Venice train. I botched the videos, but I will post the next days a few shitty pics.
A Slovenian train right before leaving Villach, Austria, for Ljubljana, Slovenia.
I caught the "Lucky Panther" at Graz Train Station in Austria, and I have no idea what's with this train. 😂 I will find out in the next few days.

A Polish PKP Intercity with a Czech locomotive from České Dráhy in Austria.
The VT 18.16 express train, built in 1968, was a German Reichsbahn jewel. This beauty has been undergoing restoration for several years by a non-profit organisation and right now they're making test runs and staff training. Here, you can see the train departing from Halberstadt towards Thale. When they announce something concrete, I'll let you know.
David Conroy, an Irish filmmaker, saw a train while riding another one and decided to make a video with his phone. Clearly a different result than me with my shaky hand. 🤣😂 Absolutely impressed! 👏👏👏
