Elk leg tteokbokki with shiitakes, oyster mushrooms, and home-pickled hot peppers. This marinade makes the elk taste amazing! I rinsed out sriracha bottles with rice vinegar, and added homemade ginger liqueur, toasted sesame oil, Sichuan peppercorns, and a little orange zest. You can really taste orange and Sichuan peppercorn in each bite of meat😚 👌 All fried up in sausage grease, tossed with gochujang and miso, and enjoyed with nigori sake and dragon well green tea with ginger peels. The daffodil mug came out exactly as I hoped! I couldn’t be happier with it. Looking at it fills me with love of spring and nostalgia. Each hand-sculpted flower is based on a real daffodil planted at or spotted near my childhood home, including Sinopel, a tazzetta variety, and a hybrid of N. poeticus. The mug is food safe, but avoid getting anything perishable in the sculpted area for ease of cleaning. Dishwashing is probably okay so long as nothing can bump it, and maybe use a lighter cycle. The sculpted flowers are delicate, especially the ones that stick out farther, so treat them carefully to avoid damaging them.
