Today was a special day and nothing excited happened…a very calm and lovable day 💖 That’s what I needed.
I spoiled myself and my love with a homemade raw vegan tiramisu made from scratch and “sushi” made with chickpeas and zucchini and lots of veggies and sprouts, with a tomato tahini dip. A blue lemonade and some grapes.

Yesterday I made cucumber and carrot spaghetti with some diced bell pepper and a super delicious sauce made with tomatoes, tahini, fresh garlic, lemon juice, and a little salt. Then I topped it with a kind of parmesan made from ground cashew nuts, salt, and nutritional yeast. And of course, sprouts are never missing in my meals. Absolutely delicious!
My dad brought me the cucumbers from his garden.

When you're in an elevator or train compartment with strangers for a short time, shouldn't there automatically be a feeling of connection?
But somehow everyone acts like everyone else is invisible. No hello, no goodbye... everyone either stares blankly into space or stares at their phone. I find it rather disconcerting.
In the countryside, people are more likely to greet each other or thank the bus driver when getting off.
In the city, I get strange looks when I say hello or thank you. But I think being seen sparks a connection and a feeling of gratitude.
Isn't that what we all want?

Today is a SPECIAL DAY. Our eyes connected, and something happened... magic that made the whole system vibrate and turned our life plans upside down.

It's really hard for me to accept that my eyesight is getting weaker and I can't see clearly up close anymore… I've only recently started using reading glasses and I really can't do without them anymore 😭Since yesterday, they now hang around my neck, always ready.
Like my ant used to wear them 😩
